dave182 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Just a comment on these spoil boxes as we all use these threads as reference for models- I've just noticed for the first time that hoods have been fitted at each end of the 42' spoil wagons, I assume to stop spoil building up in the gap between the boxes and the wagon buffers. Correct Dave. Also, note the hoods fitted to cover the gap between the two boxes to prevent stones falling in there as well. Warbonnet's picture taken in Portarlington (see above post) shows the hood between two boxes, but the end hoods are not in evidence. Quote
