  1. Well, don't leave us in suspense! How did you cook them and were they (as) nice (as usual)?
  2. Posts like this one remind of some of the great things about this forum. It's easy to forget about the positives when some of the negatives become overwhelming. People like @Mike 84C are willing to go out of their way to help the likes of young @LNERW1.
  3. I like the yellow buffer beams on that converted flat wagon!
  4. If they released a DART, I'd be bankrupt, simple as that. Back to the bargains! Unbelievable price for these 1:18 DAF 3600's at only €70: https://www.ebay.es/itm/364764749646 I mean, I've seen O Gauge cabs go for that money, and you get a lot of bang for your buck with these.
  5. Pity there wasn't a vicar around. He'd have been far more understanding... Specially if he was a metropolitan vicar.
  6. Ice Cold in Ballinacraig - worth waiting for!
  7. Did the same and the seller sent me a counter-offer, so they're definitely actually selling the locos. Declined the counter-offer and heard no more, so they're not desperate to shift them.
  8. Hmmmmmmm, anybody remember the formula for black cats and good luck?
  9. Looks like it's charging, to me. One word:
  10. I’m probably compensating for something.
  11. Although, before ordering one of these for yourself, I feel obliged to caution you that vital maintenance is not always easy to perform:
  12. Oh, and this was the beauty lurking in the background… If only I could get a few 1:18 Cement Bubbles to display with this monster!
  13. Honey, I shrunk the Grid!
  14. The first of those two EG Civics. Not as crisp as the releases from Tarmac Works and Triple9, but for a fraction of the price, it’s pretty nice!
  15. As promised, a few pictures of the Kyosho Toyota Supra under a “better” lighting rig!
  16. Lovely work, @Railway Lyons! Love the 47.
  17. But, to be clear, I don't want to mess up the CV settings too much and end with an out of control monster like this:
  18. IRM sent me an engineering sample of their forthcoming Catzilla release. Seems to work pretty well out of the box but I can't get the volume any lower. What CV settings should I try? Image attached for reference purposes.
  19. I haven't the time nor space to run it in right now, but first impressions are good. The detail is top notch, and I love the way it was screwed to the plynth in the packaging. Great way to ensure no movement, while simplifying the packaging. The videos on YouTube seem very positive, as do the YouTube comments, and the sound! Mine is the basic DC model, but the sound models featured on YouTube are something else.
  20. So, it would seem that the threats made towards Murphy Models' own customer base are relatively empty. For anybody doubting the veracity of @Der Rechtsanwalt's post, I suggest you run his / her username through a translator!
  21. Just wondering if anybody else has come across Cavalex over the past year, and what they think of the models?
  22. You are a bad influence… Just for fun, little and large…
