  1. Lovely stuff, @popeye. The dummy couplings on the 2700 are an excellent idea, they really pop.
  2. I have some shuttle controllers to test, hopefully this week.
  3. What rough order are the next few projects likely to arrive in? I see some members getting anxious over the Park Royals in a duplicate thread. Are the Park Royals more likely some time after the 22000’s have landed? Please say yes!
  4. And that’ll have to do for now, as duty calls:
  5. What ever happened to the garden layout, @Georgeconna?
  6. It is indeed! A three-legged one that needed a place a few months back.
  7. I have a little help with this today:
  8. A friend from Las Palmas was over a few days ago for a visit. He surprised me with two lovely gifts from his holiday in Japan a few months back!
  9. They tend to micro-manage a bit!
  10. That’s enough for today, just cutting and assembly left for tomorrow.
  11. Couple of days off work so getting cracking on the last two cabinets. Knees are sore, though, after 13 nights in a row doing colonies, so this is taking forever.
  12. What an achievement! Fair play! @BosKonay looks like he’s just back after a month down in the Canaries…
  13. @Irish Freight Models brake van on eBay for €52, from the IFM eBay shop: https://www.ebay.es/itm/267319892862 A pair of IRM 42’ Keg wsgons, no bids, currently €70: https://www.ebay.es/itm/197534524656 Two of @leslie10646’s wagons, going for slightly more than the original pricing, €47 and €36 respectively: https://www.ebay.es/itm/277226192332 https://www.ebay.es/itm/286667133199
  14. That is some @BosKonay level trolling right there… Now who needs a scold’s bridle???
  15. Anybody pop into the MRSI Dundalk show over the weekend? @WRENNEIRE has three or four sets of the original A/S / IRM NIR coaches advertised for sale at reasonable prices, on Adverts.ie. Worth dropping him a PM if interested.
  16. Fabulous, thanks! Will have a look when on the computer.
  17. What sort of train composition was there? I’ve seen coaches, vans, locos, and even a single APT coach, but never understood what would have been coupled to what, nor why.
  18. If these are anything like the last batch of RTC coaches, they’ll be something special. Were there only two of these in RTC livery? Is the €90-ish per coach reflective of the general trend for future pricing?
  19. There’s no rush, I’m happy to get Christmas done and dusted, first.
  20. Rails of Sheffield have some OO Gauge Coach Bundles at decent prices. Mk3 East Coast: https://railsofsheffield.com/products/set-of-7-mk3-est-coast-coaches Mk3 Great Western: https://railsofsheffield.com/products/set-of-6-first-great-western-coaches Mk2 DRS: https://railsofsheffield.com/products/set-of-4-mk2f-standard-open-direct-rail-services-coaches Great way to build a train or two.
  21. Apple devices tend to save images as HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) files by default. HEIC files are not widely used nor accessible on non-Apple devices. You can change this in your ‘phone settings, and use the more common JPEG standard. There’s nothing that those viewing can do, as the forum software will recognise it as a file upload rather than an image upload. The last few shots are fabulous!!!
  22. Must be a loooot of work going on!
