  1. Always loads of 8H22's on eBay, dirt cheap: https://www.ebay.es/itm/404814478647
  2. S##t, was hoping an O Gauge one WAS around the corner! Although I have to disagree with you on the quality, the pics in the first post here are sublime. Somebody, possibly @popeye, has posted pics of 3D stuff in their workbench thread, and it can produce exquisite results.
  3. Opened up some of the grey HUO's today and got them on display. Cracking wagons, but I think that we REALLY need an Irish wagon to run on that 32mm track!
  4. I believe that the topic of smuggling counterfeit A's has already been discussed elsewhere, and while trying not to be as rude and uncouth as I usually am, the smooth lines and rounded edges of the A would likely make them a favoured candidate over an 071 or a 141, when it comes to smuggling.
  5. At the risk of opening a can of worms here, and I love opening cans of worms, the only real limits are moral and financial. 3D printing makes it very easy to copy somebody else's work without putting in the graft that they did in the first place. This is what China has been accused of for decades, stealing technology, reverse-engineering and basically copying others work while skipping the initial set-up cost. I assume that there is some sort of association for those who make 3D prints, with some kind of guidelines and standards, much like the NMRA etc?
  6. Do something stupid like jumping off your roof in a shopping trolley while live-streaming to YouTube. Accurascale will not only give you a loco, but will show up in person to sign your various casts. Only have one myself, Heljan's "Courageous", but am looking forward to adding two Accurascale variants to the fleet!
  7. Oh my goodness, a revelation just hit me... These are going to be O Gauge instead of OO Gauge, aren't they??? Can I stop buying Accurascale HUO's and start buying IRM Bubbles instead??? You're running out of HUO's anyway, no pack I nor pack N available.
  8. Three Murphy Models Cravens for €180: https://www.ebay.es/itm/176258191897 A Murphy / Bachmann Mk2A for €60: https://www.ebay.es/itm/145634186210 Aaaand a Murphy Models 201 for €370: https://www.ebay.es/itm/285622465280
  9. Something something about IKEA being in the Danger Zone if they sold reefers. I'm not even trying any more. Any more artwork, @Arran? Those Manchester Liners look older than your previous release?
  10. Murphy Models ST livery no. 5102 for £70 GBP minus 20% discount: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196219950990
  11. Rails of Sheffield are offering a massive 20% at their eBay store! You need to enter the LEAP20 code at the checkout. Only valid for the next three days. No use to me because of the double-taxation, but may be of use to some on here.
  12. I garnered something similar from Wikipedia's various pages, but we all know that Wikipedia may not always be the most reliable, so thank you for that. They were the GSR 280 class / CIE M1 class? Also wondering about a 7mm model as there are several available, almost always top of the "Offers" piles, but I'm not sure which of the UK models is or isn't close enough to the Irish models.
  13. I'm a little confused by the Sentinels. There were five variants? Y1/1, Y1/2, Y1/3, Y1/4 and a Y3? Which variant did the GSR have, and how did it / they end up with the GSR?
  14. Try something like this. @jhb171achill or @Galteemore will be on this like flies on poop, to confirm, but I think it just needs the "wings" removed, possibly some de-lining / de-badging, and happy days.
  15. After the DC Kits debacle, twenty or thirty Bell reefers would be a breath of fresh air!
  16. The Bachmann Moguls appear every couple of weeks - think I posted one in the eBay watch thread a few days ago. The UK variants are usually cheaper, and would be fairly easy to Irish-ize. Try @WRENNEIRE and see if he has something taking up too much space in his treasure trove.
  17. Will there be anybody from the DCDR on-hand at the North Down MRS show on March 23rd and 24th, to accept donations from good folk who may want to offload some cash?
  18. Bump for this thread! @DiveController, @Ironroad, @Sean, @Noel, @patrick, @Patrick Davey, @Niall and a good few others will hopefull receive an email notofication. Lots of brake vans on the list, get the credit cards out, lads! Is it just one of each unit available, @Mayner?
  19. I wonder if they'll commission one through IRM...
  20. Well, I should eat my hat as that 141 went for £220 in Doctor Who money: https://www.ebay.es/itm/296207641617 That 112 went for €600 in the end: https://www.ebay.es/itm/186285329975 It's all in the name... Murphaph Models = Murphy Models??? @Ironroad sent me this bit from the funny pages yesterday, IRM NIR Mk2B/C blue and yellow pack sold for £300 GBP: https://www.ebay.es/itm/126337986279 And following on from that, somebody has all three blue and yellow packs for €350 each: https://www.ebay.es/itm/126339781999 https://www.ebay.es/itm/126339787625 https://www.ebay.es/itm/126339790153 In other news, three Mk4 resprays available at €70 each: https://www.ebay.es/itm/185939095149 A Bachmann Mk2A for €40: https://www.ebay.es/itm/176239823409 Bachmann Mogul with three coaches for €150, may suit some of our US based members more: https://www.ebay.es/itm/116073974864 And three triple-packs of Bachmann green coaches for €75, €30 and €27 respectively: https://www.ebay.es/itm/266683250563 https://www.ebay.es/itm/226003100982 https://www.ebay.es/itm/285704932415 Happy spending, you're welcome!
  21. What about selling some of the damaged stock to a UK line, a private collector or a scrap yard? That would both bring in cash and reduce spending on repairs. Sometimes you have to make difficult decisions. Do we try to save everything, spread ourselves too thinly and end up saving nothing? Or do we do as much as we can, and try to make our efforts last as long as possible? Before anybody responds without thinking, I've been involved with voluntary work for a long long time, and those two questions are borne from experience.
