  1. The layout deserves all of the praise, and more! Two video updates on YT here: https://m.youtube.com/@riverbankrailways/videos
  2. The detailing is excellent, @Dempsey. Makes it look more like O Gauge than HO.
  3. Great stuff, Learner! Hope you like that new nickname. It's a phonetic version of LNERW1... All I have is a board, slides under the bed, no scenery, no nothing, and it's good enough for me:
  4. I planted a hedgehog tree a few years back and...
  5. As the Gobblers and Gibblers of the world would say; well wear!
  6. Did you notice the two placeholder locos beside 113?
  7. And that’s it for today, the colonies are calling.
  8. Happier with the way it’s all laid out, now. Have to unbox a few goodies now that I have the space for them!
  9. Great bargain for anybody modeling that era!
  10. Why does it say “Bachmann” on the underside? @WRENNEIRE posted last year that these were going to be produced entirely by Murphy Models, with no involvement from Bachmann.
  11. Cracking set-up, @Niles! Under the weather? Hungover or vitamin D deficiency?
  12. Looks stunning, @Georgeconna!
  13. Thanks, @ttc0169. Just trying to lay it all out better, today. Wasn’t happy with how tight it all was, but hadn’t the space to do any better. No probs, @Sea Breezer. It’s a Best Choose Hino cement mixer with the body removed, and a Tiny City body sitting on the bed instead. The Best Choose ones appear on eBay once a year or so, but usually stupid money.
  14. Got to where I wanted to be yesterday, but shouldn’t have lifted that Kallax off the wall alone. Not sure what they weigh with the doors in, but it felt like lifting a person off the wall. I’m too old for that lark. Billy’s now need to be fixed to the wall and everything needs to be spaced out to de-clutter, but there’s no heavy lifting left for this weekend.
  15. The bases of the cubbyholes were in much worse condition than the ceilings, so I’ve flipped them to see if they last another few years. The management team seem to approve so far.
  16. The good old glue ‘n’ screw.
  17. JSV 2FG1 20’ no. JSVU-7326580 near enough to IKEA Sur today.
  18. Cats or models?
  19. The little and large pairs:
  20. The stainless steel lips that we used to support the Kallax units on the walls did a stellar job. Scrubbed up almost like new, too, Both lower Kallax units removed and the corners scrubbed and bleached and scrubbed again. Off to IKEA Sur in the morning to collect the feet for the Kallax, then we get the big one off the wall, and then start slotting the Billy’s into place. Have a special parcel here from @murphaph that has been waiting for these units a long time!
  21. One side well and truly scrubbed, one Kallax moved to a temporary home, apparently with the boss’s seal of approval, now onto the other side.
  22. Looooooot of scrubbing to do before the Billy’s can slot into place!
