The Historical Model Railway Society have announced updates to their drawing service Scroll through it for links to Irish wagon drawings There is a charge but might be worth it to the rivet counters http://www.hmrs.org.uk/drawings/drawingsupdated.php

  4. And putting a pillow up his jumper.......
  5. Reckon that might have to wait for a while Kieran, Lima produced a small run of Irish N Gauge items It is believed that as little as 50 of each item were produced in order to test the Irish Market The items however did not sell well and no more were produced First one is a freight set 12 11 23AW I have found no reference to the set anywhere but it was bought in Dublin in the late 70's in a shop called The Hobby Horse in Rathfarnham
  6. Looking great Walter, stick up some more pics when you have it finished Train model, your attachments are not working, are you using an i Pad?
  7. George Heard some rumour about an O gauge display of Irish outline models? My informant, who is new to the hobby, thought they were Irish Was he correct? Any pics of the display?
  8. Any use? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Knightwing-PM103-2-x-BR-Diesel-Refueling-Point-Kits-New-/150894136971?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item2321fdce8b

  13. Anyone get a pic of the real Imp that was on display outside the show? One of the best looking yokes I have seen in a long time, stunning, well done to whoever has it preserved Not really a bus person but this one will certainly end up one one of my shelves.
  14. Noooo......
  15. Little bit of info in post 296 in the Lima Murphy Models thread
  16. This is it Richie, I've been searching for one since you were in short trousers
  17. No idea Fran, but not a lot Catalogued as 1982 - 83 Even the box is a quare yoke Has a second Lima token in the Lima Models signage on the box The Lima Models appears on the right hand side of the box end, usually appears on the left No sketch of the enclosed item, whereas usually there is a sketch on the box end The plot thickens!
  18. Been neglecting the thread lately but hope that this yoke might be of interest to any Lima collectors here Possibly the hardest Lima Irish item to obtain so far, Thanks Dan, ye robbin bastard! A lot of anomalies concerning this wagon methinks 303 prefix usually indicates a HO item, a lot of the time the 30 is not present and the prefix just then becomes 3*** So this is then a HO wagon but given OO bogies and couplings and a W on its description to indicate OO couplings Check out 303202 to see the bogie/coupling difference Lima Sundries Wagon, be still my beating heart, as one of our own might say. This shows where the box was adjusted in the factory to cater for the OO Bogie & Coupling Alternative box
  19. Bit of a bargain here for you Fran http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MEHANO-58598-H0-Diesel-locomotive-class-66-DE-668-HGK-AC-Digital-3-Conducters-/390668664407?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item5af5aabe57

  24. Back in the mid 70's LIMA did some "Irish" N Gauge Dont ever recall seeing a Diesel and I have never seen one catalogued but that doesnt mean there are not a few out there Rare as hens teeth though and be prepared to empty the kids piggy bank, these yokes are not cheap
