Its half of Gauge 1, but fits in between O gauge & 00 gauge Theres a chap in Hollywood in the County Down, Des Brown, who is a big exponent of S Gauge and occasionally brings small displays of it to shows in the 6 counties

Saw this item in a catalogue last night Described as a cast iron railway plaque. Writing states: This load must be either quite full or empty when travelling on the Irish Railway System, Mc Mullen Bros Ltd. Any ideas what this is all about?

In fairness Paul, I think it was marketed wrongly Seller had it listed as in original box but it was not "Irish" Hymek is R768 and the BR version is R758 The CIE one was not produced during the Tri Ang Hornby era also.
