  1. Are IRM going to be going into N gauge!?
  2. The IE Ballast Wagon packs look amazing, particularly Pack F! Popped an order in for a pack, can't wait to get it. Going to set some money aside next payday and get one of the ballast vans to go along with it.
  3. Well done gents. You got my money! Lovely bus!
  4. Did you manage to get on any of the Donegal line? The girlfriend is from that neck of the woods and you see the odd remnant of a railway line, which I'd say would have been beautiful.
  5. I think it's easier for me to list the 2 that I have been on: Dublin - Galway Dublin - Cork Really need to start upping them figures once this covid thing goes away.
  6. I completely forgot that was an option. Yeah I was lucky enough to pick up 2 packs of kegs and 3 packs of 20fts when they went on sale. If you have painted some of the 3d prints could you recommend what colour looks well on them. It looks like a brownish red colour? Revell satin brown is the closest I can see in paint from online pictures.
  7. If that is the announcement this week after I ordered 4 3d prints of 42fts I'll be heartbroken, and very broke when they launch
  8. Both looking very well. The detail on the gangway of the green one is great! Did you build the coaches yourself?
  9. Absolutely stunning. Can't wait to see more.
  10. Noel, You are a legend! I think I'll have a go at respraying! Is there any way to get know what shade of yellow would be similar or just trial and error?
  11. Ah I see. Sure maybe there will be another a run if there is demand!
  12. Literally perfection. You've perfectly captured the area and the craftsmanship of the buildings/scenery is mind blowing. What is the name of the yellow Iarnrod Eireann wagons in the background that look like they haul ore and where do I get them?
  13. They look amazing! I'd say there will be a lot of interest.
  14. That's actually deadly, completely forgot about address pal! I will do!
  15. Great spot! Hopefully I'll snag one of the coaches!
  16. Ah its a beautiful coach, I haven't built up enough bits to do a kit bash, and don't have an air brush for painting so probably not the best to do a DIY job. I'll probably just order one of the RTR silverfoxes. That is a beautiful coach though! Really nice down to the small details!
  17. Ah thanks for the replies Noel and Jhb. I'll check out silverfox models for one. The top one there looks like the one I'll be after. Love the vents/chimneys on top of it. I've learned so much already! Can't wait until the loco arrives!
  18. Thanks for the picture Rob, I was thinking something entirely different. I'll have to keep an eye out for one. I have the craven with the orange bar above the windows. Would there have been a specific one in that livery or would this have been one they used for all of the craven versions?
  19. Thanks for the reply Jhb. I take it BR is a breaking coach? Do they look like regular coaches or are they the small coaches that have a little cabin/shed and a roof over it? Sorry if it's a silly question. I'll look at a few of the 42ft flat wagons maybe pick up a few of the Guiness wagons when they come out!
  20. Great stuff lads, thanks for the help! I'll have a look around and order one. I'll no doubt be back with more silly questions!
  21. Hi guys, Hoping you all could help me out. In the lockdown I found an old Hornby set in the attic which has ignited an interest in model railways. I'm starting to look at building an Irish railway. I managed to get a Craven Coach from Spain and got a Craven Snack Car from Mark's Models. I'll be looking to add another craven or two if they pop up online. Just a quick question, I'm planning on getting a class 71 to pull my 2 craven coaches. (And other Irish stock as it's added) I'm looking at the class 71 in the attached picture. Would it have been a loco that pulled craven coaches? Thanks in advance! Mick
