  1. I didn't even see it until you said it and I put it at full screen. Poor bunny!
  2. Two topics on the same subject merged. Please only start one topic instead of multiple ones so we can keep the answers all in one place. Thanks.
  3. Well played lads, PR gurus!
  4. Thanks. Recently aquired some Marklin sets. One for the very occasional collecting I think of favourite European locos. I blame you and this thread!
  5. Great little book. Love the As!
  6. They sounds great with a heavy load like that, much better than on a couple of flasks. Hopefully they'll continue using them on it.
  7. Excellent stuff man!
  8. DRS have been using pairs of their Class 37s on one of their regular container gigs over the past week or two. Sound awesome. Some videos... Gotta love tractors!
  9. Good man Richie, hope the exams went well. Useful tool, much like meself!
  10. As Ben says yes they do. Too many things running around with 645s in them to this day not to. Parts for the 567 engine as found in 121s and 141s are still being made, and the 567 was first introduced in 1938!
  11. Well done, great to see your work!
  12. Fair play! Send her up to Downpatrick for Agee runs when she's ready!

I'm not sure tbh. Anyone any ideas?

    MK3 Scrapping

The other interesting question is are the Mark IIIs stored in Dundalk going to be scrapped on site or moved to somewhere like North Wall or Inchicore? Would be good to see them roll behind an 071 or 201 one last time....

Ha, yep maybe next couple of weeks hit Kildare/Portarlington. Need to hunt down a grey 071 finally....

The Cork stock is the worst of all. I prefer the ICRs to them!
  17. And people complain about the price of cravens? We have it cheap here! They look fantastically detailed.
  18. Very nice sir! Who does the etched plates?
  19. No bother my good man. I just have nothing better to do!
  20. Absolutely! Would've been great to be on that. Princess Coronations chuck out around 3,300hp and Castles are known to be strong performers. Would've loved to be on that. Another video of the tour. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2c2dfAE9JxU
  21. I know, I've seen models with Bachmann drive train and body with Hornby cabs. A lot of work but nice end product.
  22. David, Thank you for your post. As you can see this is where these issues can arise. Mark is associated with D&M Models (sorry, I got the name wrong previously) and his comments here will be tarred with that brush. How are we to know otherwise unless it's stated? How is Eoin to know otherwise? I was pointing out how these things can happen. We encourage constructive feedback but cheap shots are not tolerated. End of. The comment was sent in the public domain as we show transparency. Others have drawn the same conclusions which is why the issue is addressed. You post clears things up which is great so we can now move on and let this thread be about the DART model only. I hope the point about how being involved with a manufacturer can give you added responsibility. Let's move on now please.
  23. Some of the more hardcore British outline modellers say it's a better model than the newer Bachmann one for body accuracy, especially the cab area... Nice job on the weathering!
  24. Lads I moved this to the non trains area as it ain't about trains!
