  1. Caught the 2nd half hour of this, was excellent. Got to see some of my old haunts too, especially around the lovely Highgate.
  2. That's a lovely little loco David, nice work. How long did these tank engines last in service?
  3. Have to agree Richie. After all it costs the same to get something right as getting something wrong. I can't see the spacing of axles to allow for 21mm gauge jacking the price up dramatically. If MIR could cater for both donkeys years ago then I'm sure companies can now, especially when the measurements would leave you with a piece of rolling stock that will be scaled down to 21mm gauge initially.
  4. The very man! I know, I'm skeptical about it myself!
  5. Someone on RMWeb said one was secured for preservation at Downpatrick and maybe an 80 class too. Wonder if there's any truth in it?
  6. You have to advertise a price as per forum selling rules Vincent. Is she 2 or 3 rail?
  7. Download the app, it's free as far as I remember. Easy that way
  8. Are you using the app to view the forum or on safari?
  9. 2nd hand but I've had 2nd hand off them before and all have been as described.
  10. Me too, they were lovely in Krakow and Katowice.
  11. It is Russia after all. What a place! [video=youtube;7SX2e6Y-75U]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SX2e6Y-75U
  12. Is that the reason the grab irons on the 071s are going with the repaints too Noel or is it down to corrosion (or even something else)?
  13. Argh! The YouTube vomit-educing 'anti shake'! Great catch mind you!
  14. Everyone likes SD40-2s! Mostly tunnel motors too, very nice! Just picked up a very nice high hood original SD40 last week, I just wish someone did a top of the line model of them and the -2s in plastic.

RM give everything an easy ride and only in recent years seem to be waking up to these new fangled diseaseals but still make the odd mistake. The Rail Express review was very positive as they tend to be vicious when it comes to reviews and have experts do the review. But sure Paddy did such a good job we were expecting nothing but positives!
  16. I wish I could get mine off her mobile!
  17. Just never ask me to wire your layout, or paint anything! I haven't, work has taken over again these past few months, but I might have a lot of free time coming up again soon sadly Will have to organise something down Laois way over the summer!
  18. Haha had to replace the charging port on my mothers laptop, two hours of pure fun! Still managed to put humpty back together again!
  19. Well done Seamus, this is how I spent my afternoon!
  20. The hobby is really going down the pan...
  21. Count me in for that.
  22. And a nice layout to go with it!
