  1. Very nice, parts ordered for my two. Let the butchering commence!
  2. The nicest livery on the nicest Irish RTR coach. It would be great if PM did some more running numbers to go with these or even better some Park Royals!

Reads do the pop-up rollers, I'm sure they could source the leaflet dispensers too. Will have a look around work when I'm back in tomorrow and see what else we have and where we got it from. If we took a table at the shows we could man it and had out leaflet with some spiel and maybe show off a couple of models. Would be more effective.

This is starting to sound like a day in work for me. There is no such thing as an easy to assemble micro stand, I have the scars to prove it!

Looks good but I always feel that a picture says a 1,000 words. Weathered diesel, steam and one of Richie's buildings maybe?
  6. Very nice Irish Mail, thanks for posting. Is it HO?
  7. You could always write to PM and see if he had a spare 201 chassis to sell
  8. Welcome Jamie!

A few of the lads posting up their recent work there are long time members of RMWeb and in some cases aren't members on here. Hopefully they will join in due course as they're responsible for a lot of nice work and I'm sure we'd all welcome them.
  10. Funniest thing I've heard in a long time

Well if does have about 9,500 more members than here.
  12. Enjoy it Dave, will look lovely with a rake of Taras!
  13. Lovely job. Looks handy with a spray gun does Tony.
  14. Bubbles and opens for me.
  15. Mind you I did find these pics of the ESB constructors http://www.flickr.com/photos/51622272@N03/5182693271/in/pool-1971051@N24/ Beasts!
  16. Nice one, but was hoping to see her working in her CIE days with a big load on!
  17. Anyone with a picture of Essie the Scammell Constructor at work? Seen a few parked up but always wonder what loads/trailers she hauled down the years.
  18. Have to say I kinda like it. The 70s look super when dirtied up too, but it's not the best of liveries out there. It looks mental on the 90s. My FL 66 bears that very name. They would've looked great in triple grey, mind you every loco that ever got that livery did. Best livery ever, along with Intercity. A golden time and probably my favourite of all with BR transitional a close second...
  19. Have we not heard these rumours many times before and they never seem to become reality? I would love to see more freight as much as everyone else but I think it's a case of 'I'll believe it when I see it.' Those 201s may be heavily stripped in some cases, but maybe they could rebuild a few good ones out of them and bin the rest. EMD parts are readily available too if all were needed but I can't see that happening.
  20. Get ready to see a UK 66 in the newer Class 70 Freightliner livery in the next week or so. A couple have been so treated in Poland... http://www.kw.rail.pl/data/media/227/DSC_2805.jpg
  21. Two stroke engines have a higher idle rate compared to four stroke. All Irish (and pretty much all other) EMDs are 2 stroke.
  22. Will see what I can do.
  23. They look so good in blue. Thanks Steven!
  24. You're making me seriously jealous now! Do Marklin do E18s? Another favourite of mine.
  25. 103s were always a favourite of mine Steven, one of the greatest locos ever.
