Not that bad thankfully. Definitely not a deal breaker. Yep they have made up some and will go into production once sufficient orders come in. Which reminds me I'd like some for my ViTrains locos!

They sure are Anthony, she's straight out of the box. There's a rake of lifting rings to fit to the roof though which should be fun! I have a maroon one on order too. I'd say you'll be able to pick up a Heljan one cheap on eBay now. I have one and while the roof front is a bit wrong they're excellent runners. I won't be parting with mine. Dapol one is a good price for what you get though. All wheel drive too!

My new Dapol Western showed up this morning. This was a model made with the feedback from the members from RMWeb as well as some experts in these complex locos to get the first truly accurate Class 52. Anyway, all I can say is Wow! She's an absolute beauty. Fit and finish superb, detail excellent. I can't wait to see how she performs. I will take some proper pictures of her later this week when I get time (along with a nice orange 071 hopefully!) but here's a few teaser (terrible) pics... Box porn Detail parts to fit, including name and number plates and headcodes.

Websites rarely if ever have subs. I know they skimped on them in my old place much to my dislike. Mind you they skimped on pretty much everything!

Cheers marks. It's understandable that the market is small but for cheaper items like freight stock and kits it's great to have them on the doorstep. Have liberated four kits from Hawkins street so far, and plan to pick one up on a weekly basis while they're still available. Will have a think about what can be ordered in too. Fair play! -
Sweet. It's the BR Mark II air cons that will be getting me to part with my cash. About time there was a high quality version of these.

Early teens is very cheap, considering that a pair of bachmann autoballasters in Irish livery is 110 euro. Could that bring the economies of scale better in line? I'm not so cheap though
