  1. And very nice it is too...
  2. hoping this latest run is a big quieter!
  3. Very nice, looking forward to my Espee Bowser Century!
  4. Very nice, awaiting these to come out in railtrack livery.
  5. I'm drooling over the new Western Rich, I'm trying desperately to see if I can arrange funds for a Maroon one. If not this run then certainly the next one...
  6. There was a video of C201 going pop on YouTube a while back, but I just cannot find it now!
  7. Interesting Dave, thanks for that. Can you remember the price?
  8. Will do, will try and get a video too, although there'll be no sound in her as I can't afford it at the moment!
  9. Hattons have them pal, I'm sure Seamus will be along to tell us if they're available over here too http://www.ehattons.com/52534/Bachmann_UK_36_557_E_Z_Command_1_Amp_4_Function_21_Pin_DCC_Decoder_Back_EMF/StockDetail.aspx
  10. That's a lot of faffing around though for me. Advanced consisting would sort out the lights when two locos are put together and when you put them back they can return to normal without extensive programming. I see the new chips are made by Soundtraxx as opposed to ESU (who made the old Bachmann 21 pin and 8 pin chip) and is in the Blue Pullman. I can say that they are super smooth in my BP and the yank tsunami sound decoders I have are top notch control and sound wise.
  11. She lived to fight another day Seamus Would never be rebuilt now.
  12. You can but then they're the correct lighting patterns to worry about! Maybe I take this too seriously....
  13. I like to have the extra power especially on long trains and big gradients Seamus. And sometimes I'd want to run them single too. DCC gives you nice flexibility to do both.
  14. There is some site maintenance going on at the moment, the missing posts will show up again when the work is finished.
  15. Yep, interesting to see how good they are and what price they will be. I have 141s, 20s and 37s I'd like to pair up! Be interesting to see if they're any use in the 071s and 201s too.
  16. Love the Alco. BC green really suits them. I have a SP C630 winging its way to me as we speak. Should look good hooked up to my U50
  17. Bachmann have announced that they're doing a new 4 function 21pin DCC chip. This one now supports advanced consisting, which will be good news to those looking to run 141s in pairs. More details here http://www.bachmann.co.uk/details.php?id=85&vis=2
  18. The site is currently moving servers so this is the most likely reason why some posts are temporarily unavailable at the moment. I'm sure Stephen is working hard to restore them as I type. Look out for updates in the 'site news' section.
  19. True man, will be interesting to see. Will have to take a trip out when it escapes onto the mainline for a video if it is. Hopefully Dave will be secure the photo and share it. Also think it would be interesting if the new logo is being put on a 35 year old freight loco before anything else! Good to see money still being spent on the 071s. Airbrushes at the ready!
  20. At least it will be a new livery for Paddy to do too.
  21. Bachmann announce their products for the year in March. I'd say they'll announce the rights to do it (ala like they did with the 70) and it will come out in about 18 months time or so. That's if they choose to do it. I read that some will be delivered in Northern Belle livery too so there will be 2 liveries to do.
  22. Wouldn't have thought the yellow would be on it if it was just primed.
  23. That guy's YouTube channel has lots of videos of the layout and some nice steam too. Been trying really hard not to buy a JLTRT kit for a while now, just glad I don't have the space for it at the moment!
  24. Just about! Lol The 68 is an upgrade on the 67, with a new power unit and made from lighter materials (the 67 has a bit of a weight issue, restricting it from lots of lines) The strange one will always be the 70, as on the tops numbering system number 70 and above was traditionally for electric traction. It'll be interesting to see who does a model of it 1st. The livery looks well, not sure about the face. A bit like an ugly but well dressed lady!
