  1. Websites rarely if ever have subs. I know they skimped on them in my old place much to my dislike. Mind you they skimped on pretty much everything!
  2. Any word back Arran?
  3. Cheers marks. It's understandable that the market is small but for cheaper items like freight stock and kits it's great to have them on the doorstep. Have liberated four kits from Hawkins street so far, and plan to pick one up on a weekly basis while they're still available. Will have a think about what can be ordered in too. Fair play!
  4. Sweet. It's the BR Mark II air cons that will be getting me to part with my cash. About time there was a high quality version of these.
  5. Also doing a wickham trolley. Anything similar to that amongst Irish permanent way?
  6. Early teens is very cheap, considering that a pair of bachmann autoballasters in Irish livery is 110 euro. Could that bring the economies of scale better in line? I'm not so cheap though
  7. What would my commission be if I did?
  8. A project for real track models so? Go on, you know you want to!
  9. Congrats man!
  10. Nice Seamus! What scale and kit maker is that? Motorised?

    New Arrival

I believe our esteemed leader BosKonay has had a new addition to to family. Congrats Stephen, hope mother and child are doing well!
  12. Please feel free to post your pics!
  13. Another Sunday afternoon project. This time a BN two bay covered hopper. Well done Marks for giving me something to do!
  14. Will know tomorrow what days I'm off. Thinking Kildare or Portarlington on Thurs.... Will be in touch
  15. Any idea if she is to be released into the wild this week? Might have a few days off and wouldn't mind a video. Any info from credible sources will be much obliged!
  16. Wish I spotted it myself. Could've done with a cheap tranny tractor.
  17. Thats a real top job Kirley, well done on that as it looks like the hours of work you put into the kit was worth it, especially around the cab fronts and roof.
  18. Absolutely riveting stuff (sorry!) brilliant model making!
  19. Fair play joe. If judging by the year in your username you're the same age as my good self.
  20. Nice rendition of the Q kits model Dave, the weathering looks good. Fancy commissioning Bachmann to do a RTR version? It will always be the dream!
  21. Again!?! Thought IE never cleaned them to begin with! Lol
  22. Best of luck with the venture lads, €130 for a kit is very reasonable. Bachmann have a lot of 0-6-0 steam locos out or in the pipeline, might be worth a look. Then look at spares for the front truck...
  23. Beat me to it! Got the email myself. Plenty of 201s there including the almost rare River Shannon. So tempted to plump for the Bachmann Tinsley 20s twin pack if I had the cash and not had two Dapol Westerns, Heljan Garratt and two 071s to buy!
  24. The glazing makes such a difference to it, well done on going down that road.
