  1. Chance that AEC railcars might also be on the way, but much less likely the park royals,C class prediction im also predicting GWR rolling stock for the accurascale announcement Hi, IRM here live from whitehead railway centre Co Antrim Northern Ireland to being you our latest announcement........
  2. Alright so everyone put there number 1 genuine prediction prediction in this thread so we can look silly when it’s something completely different “Park royals or C class”
  3. I think I’m going to watch this just outside Albert quay building for good luck
  4. “Breaking news-man attaches 200psi water pump to train set and breaks sound barrier and his wall”
  5. What about a Dublin atmospheric railway set?
  6. Just call the video: new IRM product and don’t give it away in the thumbnail.....that way we all have to watch the video in pure anticipation
  7. Ahhh cmon it’s more or less confirmed “The anticipation is killing me” -Connolly Stn 2021 cant wait for the long awaited announcement of the Cork and Macroom Direct Railway inspection car
  8. With just 1 minute to go to the glorified “Thursday” where we get our announcement I predict if it’s a locomotive, the C class. If it’s a coach then it’s going to be a Park Royal...... or neither
  9. Nahhhhhhhhh I don’t think I meant an intercity 201 anyways.........Thursday is just a few hours away and already we’re getting updates
  10. I think they were saying that the limited edition is only available direct from IRM?? Would make sense I spose
  11. Your getting your 201 re-run soon enough, which means it’s our turn again
  12. Speaking of films, when are we getting this adaption of the A class
  13. Unforutnatly it strayed onto the ballybrophy line, estimated livery is now 1-2 working years
  14. The model above was mode on another thread by @Mike 84Cin 2015 presumably for the Bantry layout. It would look very nice behind the Bandon tank! Superb modelling Since hattons have a generic 6 wheel design that fits for many (some) of the Irish prototypes that in one of there waves they would release one in a CIE livery of some sort. Alas I’ve lost faith it will happen but there is always a chance IRM will release one of those GSWR designs that got Black and Tan liveries, though in the very far future if an idea were to exist
  15. to be fair, there is a difference between an Irish livery Hymek and Irish livery 6 wheel coaches. Nothing on our rails even remotely looked like a hymek. But our coaches strongly resembled those in the UK There isn’t to much up roar across the water that an LMS coach is using the same prototype as a LNER, GWR, GCR, SCER and LBSCR etc. I’m sure if a 3rd wave of hatton’s coaches had a CIE or NCC variant we would be quite excited, if IRM did it even more so (although personally I’m hoping for something along the lines of a Park Royal first)
  16. (A clean!)Grey 121 on green coaches always looked very appealing to me. Looks superb here
  17. Hmmmmmmmmmm the first of many ehh, don’t know how many announcements I would be able to handle within 2021 neither does my financial advisor
  18. Come down to west cork, local tractor dealer bought some BnM locos and track, he told me if I buy 4 I’d get the 5th one free
  19. For my 2 cents For me the greatest period in Irish railway history was the only early 1960s. Huge varietly of lines, steam locos still plying his trade introduction of first GM locos, Livery variety was huge, coaching stock variety was also huge, narrow gauge was still in use.........
  20. I did Newport-Westport and back recently. For me the worst section of the greenway (however I presume that because the much of the new road was built on the trackbed. A keen railway enthusiast can spot the alignment leading up to and where the tunnel is from the greenway. It’s so close yet so far being locked behind a set of gates and a cattle crush.
  21. Next Christmas we’re getting 2 new special editions. A Galway livery one and Another lined green one to compliment the surge in 60s coaching stock you can quote me when I’m right
  22. my favourite layout currently in progression. Looks very realistic
  23. James bond isint raking in the numbers its expected Fingers crossed it will arrive before september first
  24. All inspiration for next years IRM catalogue Anyways, I'm off to malahide
  25. As long as its in a green livery, it suits me
