Tara junction resignalling scheme The one thing that has been missing from the layout is the lack of signals.....well not anymore, After an enjoyable day at the Warley exhibition last weekend-I arrived home with some of the fabulous Train-tech DCC operated colour light signals, They are excellent with a very easy set up and as the demo says you can programme a number of signals to operate with the one address-which I have done... Here are a few photos of work in progress showing loco 077 being used to test the signals.. And finally...a green aspect here means 077 can proceed....more signalling updates over the coming week....

The McGowan brothers and a sister if I'm not mistaken, I was first brought there in 1984 and bought the CIE 'Hymek' and some CIE Mk1 coaches-my first 'Irish' set The following year Lima released Class 37-37 012 Loch Rannoch and Class 73-73 108, and both were bought in Monk place-they were lovely people to deal with at that time.

Replace them with some PECO points as those Hornby ones tend to wear out, fit some new fishplates and you will notice a difference in running also.

A natural sunlight shot take (just by chance) this morning shows a line up of 141 locos being prepared for service led by 143 with 146 behind
