Work continues at Maam cross station A group of us started work today on fitting the levers to the frame in the new signal cabin and ensuring they were bolted into position, and were in line with the interlocking slots A new access road is also being constructed behind signal cabin, Standard gauge track panels were moved into position alongside the existing narrow gauge track which in the coming months will be removed and replaced with 5’3’’ gauge A few photos from todays operation. The first and last photos show the before and after of the levers slotted into the frame.- 432 replies

With thanks to @Past-Avenuefor inspiration of his bogie bulk cement wagons on his layout-I purchased some IRM bogies at the Wexford exhibition and put a set underneath bogie cement wagon 33001 as a trial Here we see the result-which will be rolled out to the rest of the fleet, As 33001 is at the rear of the train I decided to detail the buffer beam with a screw link coupling and red and yellow air brake pipes as on the prototype.
