Gearing up for the busy Christmas season we see preparations being made to increase train sizes….the first set to be increased was the Cravens-9 Cravens and 2 BR GSVs, Locomotives 124+134 assist with the shunting as 018 has a single GSV 3189 to add to the rake of Cravens Also a number of mail trains are scheduled to operate-the first of these is seen here arriving at platform one behind locomotives 160+192 in what is a mixed livery formation from the late 1980s era. The local P&T van awaiting the mail bags.

I enjoyed my visit to the exhibition yesterday-a nice set up,easy parking and all within a short walking distance from the centre of the town It was great to meet up with Mr & Mrs Gerry Byrne and Barry Moule from the Wexford MRC,really liked Barry’s O gauge BR diesel depot, Another bargain from @WRENNEIRE-running in trials and photos in due course over on Tara junction. A visit afterwards to Modellers Den shop on Darling street for a few bits and pieces and home…. Well done to the organisers. -

The sound and functions are nice and basic on the SD70-I wouldn't mind a BNSF ES44 at some stage.... -
I entered the venue at 10:00 on Saturday morning-after purchasing a ticket and programme with ease from the ticket office, no queueing whatsoever, It got busy around the 12:30 mark until 15:30-I left at 16:30 after an enjoyable day meeting good friends, and viewing the various layouts- I will return
