  1. John/Phil Blue overalls and wellington boots were the order fo the day - they were supplied in the early days and dark green rain coats for the wet weather. High viz was only a bad dream in those days !!!!!!!!!!!! and H & S was not even head of. Paul R.

  10. Sean Go to the dapol web site , they sell chassis separately , there have three different lengths you just need to know which length you need, I have used the mid length one for cement bubbles previously. Hope it helps Paul R
  11. One of the lads in South Dublin Model Rail Club has created ( with many contributors) an n scale modular scale , this has been exhibited at some of the recent exhibitions. Also CIE commissioned SDMRC to create a 00 scale layout based on Dun Laoghaire station in 1984 for the launch of the DART, this also included Dart rolling stock, the layout is in storage at present but would need to be updated the reflect the current Station layout.   18. Yep, part of that layout was originally built in the SDMRC clubhouse and was exhibited at our october exhibition some years back. The large section with the scenery already in place , it has been extended quite a bit as you can see. This will be featured in on of the Joe Duffy program's over the coming weeks on a Wednesday night on RTE - Local Heros is the program, the cameras have followed the guys around while making the program as far as Germany where some of them were buying stock.
