    Customs & VAT

Just had VAT demand from Anpost customs for my latest Railtec transfer order. First time this has happed with Railtec, but can't complain as VAT is deducted when ordering. One issue to be aware of is Anpost is increasing its admin fee to €4.95 from 9th September!!

  11. Class 25 loco's got the nickname of rats as they were all over the network, then 26 & 27 locos (originally used on the Midland and Eastern region before migrating to Scotland), also got the 'rat nick name by some people, hence the Mac Rats when they moved to Scotland. Never heard of the teaspoon/teacup nickname, however there were some variations of names with the various diesel locos.
  12. Good price for the Mc Rats.
  13. Its called 'Thread Drift' happens on all forums and topics, you should see what goes on over on RMweb. lol
  14. You will need some strong magnifying glasses to see T gauge! lol... One of the guys from the First Bangor MRC had T gauge layout in a brief case.
  15. Mine arrived today as well along with the replacement August copy. I See that it was posted via Royal Mail and not some other shiping firm this time. Hopefully Peco/Railway Modeller have sorted out the postage problems.
  16. My subscribers copy arrived too today, Have to wait and see when the September one turns up.
  17. I have some US/Canadian loco's listed in the for sale section.
  18. Thats intersting to know, was in Athlone last week and Easons did not have one railway related magazine at all.
  19. The replacement July copy arrived yesterday, still no sign of the August copy. September one was out on Tuesday. When I phone Peco to enquire about the delays in delivery the response is they will send a replacement issue out, and dont really seem to be concerned about the delays. I now have two copies of the June and July issues! Possibly end up with two August copies to when they eventually turn up.
  20. @Bob229 This any good to you?
  21. Want a double header on the summer Saturdays to Skeggy.
  22. I sent an email to Peco/RM and this is the reply I recieved earlier today. I will see when the August one turns up, May see if they can change my subscription to the digital only version, still have six issues remaining on my current subs. Regards, John Hi, We have re issued an August edition. We have raised the postal issue for our customers in Ireland to our manager who is looking into it. Apologies for the inconvenience. Kind Regards Tina
  23. Well, looks like another phone call to Peco tomorrow. September Modeller out this week and still no sign of August copy!
