  3. You probably have these drawings? http://irishrailmodels.com/2012/01/24/lhb-bogie-cement-wagon-drawing/
  4. A vote for the Mir range here!!!
  5. Lovely job
  6. The dapol MRAs use simple fixed bars as does the D&M DeD's. For most people fixed rakes would be the ideal and if you can save a few euro removing nem pockets and couplers that will seldom uncouple you'll both save money and have a better looking train.

  8. I agree Kieran, nothing worse or more heartbreaking than ripping up sections, but sometimes it has to be done
  9. What a treat! A's passing on beet and cement, a sulzer skulking in the yard, just absolutely brilliant :) The internal detail on the beet is lovely - who built them?
  10. Just a pic to show I am still trying to find time on the layout Have painted the sky, ballasted some more, eased a bend near the terminus that was upsetting the DD set, and gotten all the computer control working and the layout control working on the iphones/ipads.... Literally feck all to 'show' for it but I feel less stressed and more in control Have a batch of motors hopefully en route, and I have packed away all the stock bar one DD set (for clearance testing... ) so that I can push on and get all the backscenes done and all the track down, wired and motors installed before I start playing again! Here, 9002 sits at the head of an 'in need of the wash' set in the yard sidings facing platforms 4 and 5, waiting for the new bend to set so she can take a spin out
  11. Working in the shed last night is really suffering for your art!! They are coming out fantastically!
  12. Absolutely gorgeous work Kirley - and as for that A - stunning!!!! She's making light work of that rake
  13. Nice price
  14. Absolutely humbling levels of detail.
  15. SO much interest and detail is just that tiny sliver!! Thanks for sharing - she looks stunning!
  16. Strange looking beastie in those colours alright
  17. Only 550k for neighbouring Rathville http://www.formerglory.ie/property-rathville-house.html
  18. Oh I am :) They still get a run Will have to find time to double up their pulling power as per Kirleys great work!
  19. I agree with aclass. We all have repaints and 'not great' stuff in the cupboard that's now put to shame by the stuff that's now available. If you told me four years ago I'd have a protypical DeDietrich enterprise running around on a layout behind a sound chipped 201 I'd have laughed you out of the house! Never mind the rest of the Paddy stable, D&M models, and excellent looking small run freight stock.. While detailed, etc, my Silverfox locos tend to sit on shed now.
  20. :praying::praying::praying::praying::praying: The pews are full to capacity on that one!
  21. This thread makes the work of those who do rtr all the more awesome and I reckon I'll be nominating paddy Murphy for sainthood! My personal opinion is that many expert modelers who take comissions are too cheap!
  22. No surprise after that sale price!
  23. Nice! http://www.juweela.de/de/produkte/massstab/produkt/sc/187/no/zuckerrueben.html
  24. Very nice! I like the free WIFI transfers - very up to date
