  1. Only 550k for neighbouring Rathville http://www.formerglory.ie/property-rathville-house.html
  2. Oh I am :) They still get a run Will have to find time to double up their pulling power as per Kirleys great work!
  3. I agree with aclass. We all have repaints and 'not great' stuff in the cupboard that's now put to shame by the stuff that's now available. If you told me four years ago I'd have a protypical DeDietrich enterprise running around on a layout behind a sound chipped 201 I'd have laughed you out of the house! Never mind the rest of the Paddy stable, D&M models, and excellent looking small run freight stock.. While detailed, etc, my Silverfox locos tend to sit on shed now.
  4. :praying::praying::praying::praying::praying: The pews are full to capacity on that one!
  5. This thread makes the work of those who do rtr all the more awesome and I reckon I'll be nominating paddy Murphy for sainthood! My personal opinion is that many expert modelers who take comissions are too cheap!

  13. Kick starter is an interesting idea...
  14. I priced up Dapol to manufacture the 20 foot back in 2012. From memory, it was working out at around £16k for tooling and around 7 pounds per, including packaging / box. 5,000 wagons would set a cost price of 10.20 sterling (about 12.50 euro) Add shipping, marketing, some margin to make it all worth doing, and you're easily charging 25 euro retail, assuming you could sell 5,000 of them...
  15. Just insane
