  2. Woohoo - win win Agree on the JMRI As long as you have a compatible, computer connectable cab, that supports all the features, computer control lets you manage it from your phone / pad anyway,.
  3. The beauty of a system like the Z21 is that development and features are just a matter of time / coding. It's a very clean way of running things tho (the geek in me approves )
  4. Ok, progress Lights and movement as '0' means that under DC power the loco is working fine. So the issue is the chip. Have you another chip you could try?

  6. AH, cheers garfield.. I have a Canon EOS 450D and tripod, but it doesn't like the low light levels much I've some lighting strips on order to hopefully bring the lumens up enough to take decent photos.

  10. The fun now is finding out how 'challenged' much of the older stuff (steam, silverfox, etc) is by the weight of some of the rakes. All bar the new 'factory' stuff like cravens, mk2s, mk3's, demand more pulling power than much of the stock Poor ole 034 couldn't manage the 12 cement bubbles at all gawd bless er Big bucket o' bullfrog snot en route hopefully, and liquid lead Gives me an excuse to get back on scenics tho - have a little wiring to finish, then a heap of motors to fit, then all the frogs to wire up, then ....

  16. Looking absolutely excellent!!! The walls are very effective at 'anchoring' the scene! Loving the hardstanding - what kind of foamboard did you use?

  18. Click the link above. The last toggle is how to show results. Choose posts and bobs yer uncle

  20. Try the Advanced search, and ask it to show posts, rather than threads?
