  1. Here is the latest, as laid track plan. 22 Feet across the top, 13 feet top to bottom. As you can see, Blackrock Rd. Depot (on the right) and Cement Branch on the left are still 'open' and unlaid. All the track pictures is now in place and powered.
  2. Absolutely - one is a bit overdue, as some elements 'evolved' away from the plan I'll do an updated track plan to 'as laid' and grab a sequence of photos around the layout asap! The overall dimensions are 22 feet x 13 feet.

Sounds very 'british' in scheme... wonder how a 201 would look in it too...
  6. Will work up a few more videos
  7. I've found it actually very easy to use
  8. Ya will ya will ya will
  9. Cheers Fran!
  10. Hehe, its fine on start but having a 'little' trouble on the curves (which are fairly gentle, the tightest is a 26" radius after the terminus junction, the others are 36-40" including the viaduct.. Works much better pushing the rake too - has more trouble pulling I reckon the snot will do the job tho - anyone know if there is an IE/UK stockist?
  11. Actually that's an excellent idea! (and one Anthony recommended before too!) Will track some down and report
  12. More photos please!

    Fort Knox ?
  16. A little with the DD rake. The 201 seems a less capable puller than the 071

  18. DCC points control is two wires (well, when using digital motors ) Although then you have to hook up a computer
  19. Rather than open a new thread - was wondering if anyone had added weight to their 201 to improve traction, and if it's even advisable !
  20. Hehe, I know what you mean = but the hassle of unboxing stock is keeping me (somewhat) behaved !
  21. I'm all mac, so just using the latest version of iMovie.... First time I actually edited a few clips together!
  22. Dunno about the editing Was a quick job Will have a play with the software and work up a 'standard' format for videos Hopefully will get a little time to finish the bridge wiring and then clean down the layout So far, means the mainline loop, the main terminus, yards are all down and wired, bar the engine shed tracks. Next phases then are Blackrock Road depot and station and 'Cement' Branch, as well as the helix and fiddle yard!
