Paddy Murphy did Jinty 18 and 19 a few years back in OO in NCC livery based on the LMS Fowler 3F “Jinty” tank locos, you can also respray a version of RPSI no.4 in NCC... A hornby Class 2P makes a decent Castle

Plaster the deck with copydex. Fix down the track. Pour over a bucket of ballast. Manually 'tamp'. Give 24 hours. Vacuum

lol, cheers lads I've another small mountain of supplies en route, and hope to pick up a small mountain of stuff at the fair Sunday I'll get back to the modelling then, and try a few more movies once I get some more ballast and some basic scenics down

At least the old IE 'meant' something and was an identifiable logo in it's own right. This one clearly needs the full name spelled out too?

So to compensate, here are a few general update shots Trying out some 'backstreet' buildings that will be behind the main terminus building. The beginnings of a level crossing and street scene at the opposite corner of the layout, just beyond Blackroad Road Junction. And a general 'state of play' looking into the terminus over the throat.
