  1. Quick update now the weight is off the per way / ballast bank sidings. The station throat is shaping up now and is now fully powered, next I'll get the carriage sidings and this new per way area powered up, before laying the freight yard and main shed areas to the front .
  2. ouch! Bring a tear to the eye!
  3. Lima Class 201 model NIR livery 209 Super clean, not in original box but never run No detailing parts - as is. Lovely clean example for collector or to run
  4. (Yep, she's pretty filthy) If Paddy get his done, I reckon she'll be tucked into a back siding to await the scrap man
  5. I'm planning to use woodland scenics. http://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/category/RoadSystem For the sheds, hardstanding, and plan to concrete over the entire freight area too for easy truck access
  6. Is it bad that makes you wish we had police like in the USA, or even the Gendarmerie de France?
  7. I think it looks good! What's the overall space you have availabke?>
  8. Looking good!!
  9. And a shot of the 'completed' station throat (missing just the junction with the mainline) And shots of the whitemetal 121 as requested by heirflick!
  10. A small update with the 'gauging' train I'm using
  11. Brief update of yesterdays 'guaging' Apart from the assistance provided by Thomas and pals, the gauging train is a pocket wagon, Craven, MKIII EGV, Timber and Cement bubble - representing a good cross section in terms of length and width / shape of stock that will appear. I'm using this to test clearances and do some initial platform size markings (honest, not just playing ) Will get the final few track pieces down in the per way siding now and get some updated photos of the nearly finished throat and sidings...
  12. More here also http://irishrailmodels.com/2012/01/23/20-flat-wagon/
  13. Thanks Sulzer201, all gone.
  14. Hey Tommy, Have it here - yep - drop me a PM and we can organise it
  15. Welcome Steve! Have you ever done the wasp-stripes for the weedspray panels?
  16. Fair play Seamus - beat me to it As the man says, and stunning job they are too Highly recommended and really bring the cravens to life
  17. lol - is there any other kind ? 25,35,45,55,65,75,85 - I reckon we're all as bad
  18. My plan (for Amiens Street) is to get it electrically functional once all is laid. My priority is reliable running (hence the number of droppers and wiring). Once done, I plan to weather and paint the track, lay the 'hard' stuff, like platforms, hard standings, etc, and place all the buildings. Then get stuck into ballasting and some green stuff
  19. Very boring Especially when the 'main station' can just about accept a 141 and two cravens Great fun to build though, and great experience
  20. Cheers lads, the idea was a basic roundy for the lads, which I could use to experiment and gain some experience with - highly recommended It gave me a much clearer idea of what i wanted, and what was possible
  21. No photos again today tho, the boys are on mid term so the layouts been covered in rakes of thomas and pals Will get a little time tomorrow and hope to dropper and lay the per way sidings and a bit more throat, and start into the main shed area
  22. No They can alternate running the enterprise platform
