Ah yes, the Commitments. That opening shot over the Isaac Butt bridge, soundtracked to "Destination Anywhere". Magic. And Dublin being presented as a proper metropolis on film, with nary a diddlyiddle in site (other than the Corrs auditioning of course).
Lovely job, really looks the part and the cambrians look great.
Nearly as good though is that limestone cut wall in the background. Where did you get that? Amazing looking.
Here are the latest photos of resin sample with the brass bits added. Whitemetal bits to be added will be buffers, fuel tank, bogie sides, vacuum pipes and the cab roof ventilator.

Horsetan, page 5 of the S Class has a diagram of the etches with numbering (and even the original non digital) instruction had this Is this not on the softcopy I sent you?
Prior to the release of the Silver Fox version, I kitbashed a Backky MK1 with B4 bogies, particularly based on the fact that the prototypes were based on the same items anyway. I noted that by cutting up the sides and rearranging them created a near perfect copy, with only a small bit of the side to be built from scratch.
The bakky model is particularly suitable for this as the sides are discrete components and the whole structure reassembles very easily. I took some photos of the sides with the cut lines required so will look for them and post them up. The roof vents were straightforward enough as well.
Wow Horsetan, this is a whole new technology to me, but sounds bloody fascinating. Have you any photos that you can put up of the Portescap or indeed a Youtube clip?

Fascinating...£50 a pop eh?
The kit comes complete with brass underfloor suitable for Athearn and class 55.
It also includes the central fuel tanks, bogie sides, buffers, roof cab ventilator, vacuum pipes etc...and a host of other detail.
Resin samples have arrived in the post today. I'm very happy with them and will post up tomorrow, once I've added the brass detailing on.
5 weeks and counting to availability...
Lads,
Further update. The Sulzer 101 sub-master is winging my way for review from the manufacturers. Once that has been finalised we are 4-5 weeks from kit availability.
