1. I don't think there are many pictures of the Irish Pulman's out there I know one of the books I have has a photo of one in a very poor state.
2. When its flying past on the layout Fran 3' away you might never notice
3. Nice photo here http://chrisplayfair.smugmug.com/popular/2452466573_2nvCSBG#!i=2452466573&k=2nvCSBG&lb=1&s=L
4. I think this is the one you want http://www.ehattons.com/35914/Hornby_R4480_Pullman_1st_Class_Kitchen_Car_Minerva_Matchboard_type/StockDetail.aspx
5. No no you got that all wrong mate. You get her in doors to walk down the bottom of the yard and catch it for you. Don't forget the HP brown sauce.
6. @ cg-antrim The old hornby mk3s are the wrong length. As for the vinyl over lays I personally don't like them
7. Four tracks instead of two. That's double the fun Fran
8. You should make an offer on it Fran a nice little love nest and real trains at the bottom of the yard. What more could you ask for=))
9. Would be nice only for the caravan halt across the road
10. Fran (staying on topic) will you be painting her in a clean condition looking at the photos I think she would look well weathered up like the SD7 I posted up in the video.
11. Thanks for that info Alan. I'm making another platform and I'll post up some pictures of how to do it soon.
12. Yes I know I have photo's of her in the shed getting rebuilt. What I'm saying is the cosmetic changes have made a big difference to the over all look of the loco.
13. Agreed Seamus the more I look at the photos the more I love the new livery its amazing how something as simple as removing the grab irons and a new coat of paint has transformed the loco and given her a new lease of life
14. Forgot to say well spotted Pat on the buffers =D
15. I have to say now I see 077 in her new livery out on the rails I really do like it. Thanks for the photos Wanderer
16. Mines a built unpainted kit so that will keep you busy for a while
17. Park Royals sound good also what was the CIE 6 wheel/3 axel van
18. Looking great Bud can't wait for the next instalment
19. I have to say I would agree with you there
20. I wouldn't cut in the middle K. I would make 2 cuts one at each end of the pocket so the your wagon would be in 3 pieces. As for gluing back together and strength that shouldn't be a problem.
21. I didn't know that. I will get to work soon then on another platform
22. Nice work Anthony-would this photo be of any help to you? It's a typical West of Ireland station before the Mini CTC was introduced. Great picture there Noel where would the signal box have been situated in that photo. What was throwing me off was I've been looking at photos of Ballina with its one platform. Would both platforms be the same length or one short one long
23. Have taken your comments on board and I will have a play about with the position of the signal box:tumbsup:
