  1. Thanks Geoff,that would be appreciated.Some scratch built-impressive.
  2. Nice video and nice layout Geoff, like the various cameo scenes you have created. With regards to your RUC landrovers, what colour of grey did you paint them with?I have a number of them on my own layout and painted them with battleship grey recommended by BW Models, but the grey has a blueish tinge to it and does not look right, whereas yours seems spot on,any help would be greatly appreciated.Look forward to your more current update over the weekend.
  3. Good to see you posting on your layout thread again, look forward to more regular updates
  4. Nice job with the brake vans,I would be happy with them if they were mine.
  5. Nice video with the Bredins, they look the business.Looking forward to loads more video's and photo's from this class layout
  6. Great work with the brown vans Kieran, like the added extra with the sliding doors.Remember, some of the brown vans got painted into both UTA green and NIR maroon during their lifespan. A superb thread with all what you have done over the last year, all modelled to a very good standard, look forward to 2015s Kirley's projects.
  7. Brilliant shots and not a train in sight!Really love the uneven surface of the platform and the different colours.Still hard to believe it is N scale, look forward to more regular updates
  8. Thanks Enniscorthyman,Seamus and Kieran.Kieran, hope to get a few more photo's posted over the Christmas period, hopefully with some new build stock being completed, already made a start on the spoil wagons, nice little kit to put together.
  9. Thanks Ed and Noel, look forward to seeing your new layout developing in the New Year.
  10. Nice job with the flats, looks like they go together well.
  11. The start of the Christmas holidays gave me the opportunity to give the trains a much needed run after nearly 4 months! Below is a photo of one session from 1970 showing Hunslet 101 Eagle heading under the road bridge with the Enterprise for Great Victoria Street.Heading in the opposite direction is Jeep No 6,returning home to York Road via the Lisburn to Antrim line after a trip working to GVSt.Amongst the traffic a couple of RUC landrovers can be seen, showing the changing face of everyday life in Belfast.
  12. Great scenes again Noel, shopper specials were great for throwing up various forms of stock, especially those that came north to Belfast back in the day, usually a C class with a rake of any coach available.Like the close coupling of your own coaches, what did you use?
  13. Great job, still hard to believe it is N scale, the buildings are fantastic
  14. Flats look the business Kieran, hope you get the running problems ironed out.Really like the way you have blended the scenery with the backscene, great work
  15. Hard to find the right words to describe all the buildings and infrastructure on show on this layout, especially as they are all based on the real thing. You are one very talented craftsman with an acute eye for detail, superb inspirational work and a great historical recreation in model form, well done
  16. Yer some man Kieran, the production line never ceases.Good job with the flats, look forward to seeing them finished.
  17. Long time no see layout Patrick, but it is looking as great and atmospheric as ever, loose coupled mixed freights were a sight to behold
  18. The coaches are looking good Kieran, nice interiors, will look smart when finished.
  19. You're doing it because it adds to the authenticity of the coach and takes it to another level.Fair play to you, personally,I would never have the patience to do it!
  20. A great and well organised show, that seems to get better every year, with next year 2 Irish layouts for me to drool over,I know now where I will be spending most of my time at the show next February, nice one!
  21. CAF taking shape and the detail work on the Bredins is brilliant, well done
