  10. Reading in latest Rail Magazine about a man who wanted to travel from London to Barrow. Found it cheaper to fly London to Dublin then Dublin to Manchester and save about 300 £ as well!

  20. Yes double headed at least once. Only ever saw one Hunslet hauled train on the Larne Line rescuing a failed MPD set with passengers!
  21. The Hunslets made it to Derry more than once with goods trains and/or Fert Specials.
  22. Also note the Derry Line is partially closed over the Halloween weekend 2!
  23. Typically Translink.have chosen that weekend for line closures between Belfast and Dublin! Bus not train!
