  1. Space for a flywheel? What make is that track?
  2. Potts / Poots - could that be part of the problem?
  3. Atlas make some nice fine fencing for those frontages - not an exact match, though, but a similar style.
  4. Size of the markets and the numbers against which the fixed costs can be recovered from, I suspect.
  5. Could you put a shim about the thickness of the disc between the boards? That should make the gap fairly small, if the track is fairly straight over the join and you remove the shim after the cut.
  6. Back - after a down period. I had to do some work, this cannot be allowed to happen again!
  7. Well, they've all been outstanding so far!
  8. We are prepared to wait a reasonable time - possibly even several weeks.
  9. Waiting for you to motorise it... http://www.nelevation.com/
  10. Phew, I was finding it difficult to line up events this year - 2019, then.... And I would probably have fallen off the stage this time, anyway.
  11. Surely this should have been included in the Exhibition Calendar...?

  13. Yes! I can barely contain myself....
  14. There is an N Gauge layout called Ballykeale that turns up on the exhibition circuit now and then - it's at http://www.ngaugeshow.co.uk/ in September. I can't locate any pictures of it, but it seems to be modern stuff.
  15. I understand that there will be an exhibition of old photographs of Hazelhatch at the station this week.
  16. Not your best chat-up line...
  17. You can get Keen stuff direct - http://www.keen-systems.com/Carriage%20Ends.html - from the odd location of Market Drayton, a place that's not really on the way to anywhere - twenty miles from me and I've only been there once in forty years...
  18. Welcome, Jan, Timahoe is my favourite round tower - I often wonder what Erich von Daniken would have made of it...
  19. Some brass screws are lacquered, others may have a lubricating wax film applied, neither of these will help - a rub with glass paper may be of benefit?
  20. To be fair, it is on the loop platform which will rarely see a passenger train against it these days. I did consider going back and painting another 'e' on it, so that it didn't matter which way it went back next time. There is CCTV there, but this is behind the tower of the new bridge - probably out of view...
  21. Ah, the secret is out - now we know where he gets his modelling powers from...
