Living in England, I'm used to the rather pompous announcements that you get here - e.g., "The train now approaching Platform Three is the delayed fourteen fifty three Virgin Cross Country service to Manchester Piccadilly, calling at ...etc" Rather a different style at Portlaoise, where I once heard "That's the Cork train coming in now."

Miniatur Wunderland is currently over 13km and is planned to reach 20km by 2020 - but, I suppose you can't run one train over the whole of it in one go...
