They're good people - prepared to put up with my pidgin Czech - I bought a Tatra 8-wheel tipper kit last time.. There's another good model shop, mostly aircraft, just round the corner.
I don't actually have any Czech stuff yet - but I might have the odd diesel eventually, I think. Should be over there at some point this year. Classic Model Shop in Prague is worth a look, if you go. http://www.nelso.com/cz/place/1708/
I know someone who has a similar location and she has never been up there.
I told her that he just plays a recording of some trains going round to cover the noise of the still.
I've never actually seen anybody use the lifts at Ballybrophy - and the new bridge is like jabbing myself in the eye with my own sore thumb every time I see it.
It's rather like being a Hindu - it dies, then it lives all over again...
I wouldn't rely on the last site being available for ever. The one before it is still there, but the search doesn't work, for me anyway, and so it's of little use now..
I suspect that I might be on my own here, but I do have a passing interest in Czech railways. I did go to Derby a couple of years ago, specifically to see Smržovka - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ian.lampkin/smrzovkapage00.html - and very good it was, too.
And it's always a handy excuse for Googling "Czech models"...
I should be going to this one - http://www.mmrg.org.uk/ - probably on the Saturday. Tip me off if you're likely to be there, by any chance.
It's usually a good one, I've been for the last two years and not been disappointed..
A picture paint a thousand words - as Telly Savalas once said. But, I can't see how to introduce an avatar - I do find it easier to recognise people that way, up to a point..
If I've done this right, then it will show you how easy it is to embed a video here - even I can do it!!..
Just click on the little 'film strip' icon in the menu above and copy in the URL of the video that you want to show - simple..
Now, let's see if it worked.
There you go!!..
