The Prague one is good, it's in the basement of a supermarket and I haven't been for a couple of years, but it was good enough then. There's YouTube videos and a Facebook page, if you like. Strangely enough, I understood your misunderstanding. Tell your mother that you want to go for a weekend in Hamburg!!

I did, but there was a lot of work going on there at the time, and most of my trains went from Masarykovo, as I stay in Bechovice. There seemed to be no restrictions on where you could go - there were some Japanese spotters there and they were nearly under the wheels!!..

Does everybody know? I see that the odd one is still posting on the old site and I've PMed those that I see, but I worry that some might not be rescued. And this in the week of the Titanic centenary, too..

They have a stand in Masarykovo station - I've had some good books from there.

They're good people - prepared to put up with my pidgin Czech - I bought a Tatra 8-wheel tipper kit last time.. There's another good model shop, mostly aircraft, just round the corner.

I know someone who has a similar location and she has never been up there. I told her that he just plays a recording of some trains going round to cover the noise of the still.

I've never actually seen anybody use the lifts at Ballybrophy - and the new bridge is like jabbing myself in the eye with my own sore thumb every time I see it. -
It's rather like being a Hindu - it dies, then it lives all over again... I wouldn't rely on the last site being available for ever. The one before it is still there, but the search doesn't work, for me anyway, and so it's of little use now..
