  14. How do you spell 'OCD'?
  15. Not quite the same thing, but I flew to Prague and back a while ago and witnessed the extraction of the baggage from the hold at both ends. In Prague, they inserted the baggage conveyor into the hold and items were transferred fairly carefully into the carts of the baggage train - in Birmingham, the chap in the hold just flung them out of the hatch onto the concrete, where another chap picked them up and flung them 15-20 feet into the wagons - several missed and fell onto the concrete again. The conveyor was there, but probably too much trouble to use....
  16. Surely yours won't be "weathered as new" - more like "weathered as old and knackered"..?

  23. I see that the diet's working, but I'm a little surprised that those nails don't get in the way on the fiddly bits.
  24. That has to be the best representation of weathering that I've ever seen. Not just in terms of the appearence of the rust, etc., but in its positioning and 'style' - it's all just where it would be. I'm particularly noticing that the 'wear' on the steps is in just the right places. Top stuff - done by a true professional in the world of filth.

    Dapol signals.

Excellent. Good to see the actual operation. I wondered if they might move in a rather less realistic and 'snappy' manner. How loud are they in reality? Does the noise intrude at all, or is it only as loud as that in the video because of the proximity of the camera..?
