    I think the reasons for the pricing are pretty obvious. I for one always steered clear of Irish modelling due to the lack of freight wagons and had modelled Canadian scene for over twenty years. Having been used with really good quality ready to run wagons (freight cars) it made kit building less attractive. Now with the exchange rate 3 high quality freight cars from North America cost more than IRM products. So thanks to IRM and a Canadian clear out I have purchased a collection of Irish Locos and Coaches from Murphy and lovely ballast and bubbles from IRM and a very enjoyable layouts. Thanks lads and keep those products coming.

    I think this is the most resounding vote of confidence in the Irish model railway market to date, so it's up to us to support it. Is the weed sprayer coach based on a Mk1 steam generating van? If it is that must really boost the possibility of it appearing.

    Eoin, you are 100% correct I was referring to 21mm scale when I said correct scale. All locos and rolling stock are running fine with the wheelsets straight from the box.

    I like the look of the new Peco Bulkhead track. The points without the hinge half way along the blade is also a nice touch. If I had more free time I would have went for the correct scale of track and regauge my rolling stock. Sometimes compromising is the only option. WARNING. The fishplates are rather frustrating to fit!

    Love this list. How about a three car class 80 and then use the Mark 2 coach mold for the basis for an Accurascale British project!!! Come on lads!!!

    Thanks Paul. Yes it looks ok. A bit strange at first but after 40 years of running on HO scale track it was always going to be!!

    080 on the bubbles, 192 on the ballast and 075 awaits its next duty in Ballyercall (better name plywood central!!!)
