  8. 'I do regret till this day my decision to leave Dublin Bus and move back home I always think of what could have been. Out of all the jobs I have had over the years its the only one looking back I looked forward to going to work every day. The guys in Ringsend were great to work with every one watched out for every one and me been the youngest in the garage at the time the senior drivers always made sure I was OK it was like a big family.' ah anthony, we all do regret decisions that we made in the past -its in our nature to think of what might have been! just think about what you have...2 grand girls (even though you are probably hen pecked like the rest of us or riddled as the case may be if you are a bad boy!), you have a big model railway..and your alive!! not to mention that us plonkeers are here to slag you at any oppertunity!!
  9. hi glenderg, just like the lads, im gobsmacked at the detail of your work....the realism is just stunning! you did mention on the old site about the printing, but i had no idea it would be so good! connolly shed is looking the good. are you restricted to the size ofany building or is the sky the limit? what is the largest you have attempted? ( somthing brewing in my head...i hate when this happens!) btw, nice job on the 58!

  13. eamonn, the rails around dublin- does it contain pics of the freight yard at heustton/north wall? love to get pics of the E class in action
  14. like the Bos said, take your time . look at as many layouts as you can, track plans are great for ideas but remember its your layout, so..get a pen and paper and do a few sketches--mistakes here can be erased! as conor said dont glue or nail anything down yet. welcome to the world of nutters!!
