[ The Silverfox kit is of the original Dundalk Engineering Works 1969-built 'Dutch'vans (3157-66), which were used on vacuum braked trains. The DC Kits version is of the Inchicore Works 1991 modified version (4601-03) which were used with the MkII air-braked stock.

you know me any weathering anto, but even though she is preserved, she will have , after a few runs, dusty undersides and the tender will have coal dust esp around the footplate. so yes a TINY bit of weathering is called for!
