1650 ex Dublin 10 late

Worth noting if anyone's interested;

On Mondays & Tuesdays the DD set off the 1650 ex Dublin runs empty to Lisburn and follows the 1750 ex Dublin out of Lisburn and runs to York Road (via the avoiding line). Wednesday to Fridays (+ Saturdays) it runs straight to the Depot.

@airfixfan can you confirm? I have seen it on Fridays run DVT first.

What’s the reason?

Something to do with depot facilities? Is the train too long for the pit roads, and has to be inspected one way round to do one end, then turned to get the other end over a pit?

Not actually sure truth be told

Following a vehicle striking a bridge between Newry and Dundalk the line has now reopened.

Train services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be delayed.

Normal services will be provided as soon as possible.
