121 class in silver 1950s livery. Cc1 in black and tan??

121 in the current dark grey 071 livery would also be an interesting one! Maybe a Mk3 set in 26xx/2800 style silver and green?

Wasn’t the RPSI preserved 121 painted in this livery for a brief period of time?

Stephen

I was thinking that too but couldn't find a picture....

nearly half a decade later, and it’s still not out!

what I want to see most is an 071 in inciting green (like the livery on the mark 4s / 201s) as I saw one like this in an RSA book once

the other thing I’d quite like to see is 121 /141 class in 1960s light green with eau de nil waste and

Basically it’s going to take so much effort to do it right, I may as well learn how to photoshop

How about this for alternate history (yes it’s got handrails and the livery wouldn’t have looked like this) but it gives an idea…IMG_6179.thumb.png.9d086ad77f7f290c756583cc7dd56fc7.png

Those look very smart!

Tomorrow I’ll dig out my colour images of D class in dark green as a comparison to the first one.
I think the 1958 light green is more plausible given when they were delivered. Maybe add red bufferbeams?

I found a written reference to some 121s getting red bufferbeams when in grey/yellow, but haven’t found a photo yet.

I have a photo of red buffer beams on a grey livery one somewhere…I think it was 127…

id like to believe there is a universe where 121s are delivered in CIE light green. I would think red buffer beams and black beneath that, maybe an eau de nil waistline too…

I have run out of chat gpt attempts for today trying to make a 141 look ok in CIE 1958 green…not sure how it managed to come out as deformed as that  IMG_6182.thumb.png.e82484692b817881e3a5cf5dabb44c62.png
