Arran Posted April 15 Posted April 15 HI All Just in are two of the three newly tooled 20ft tanks in Exsif and Suttons. These are of a more modern design and they have outlet covers if required and different walkways where required in Etched stainless steel . Regards Arran 7 1 Quote

Not sure how prototypical the tanktainer is but I like the look of it. This didn't arrive in the usual Herpa packaging, just a transparent plastic box with no branding nor info, no model number or anything. This photo from @iarnrod shows a different design of Bell tank, looks to be branded "Bell Bulk". Not super clear but might jog the memories of some: Edited April 16 by DJ Dangerous 1 Quote

DJ Dangerous Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Looks like there was one in this Bell liner, too: On 19/1/2021 at 1:50 PM, Arran said: HI All On this 8min 46sec in there is an interesting train with some Bell Bulks and a Bell tank . Regards Arran 1 Quote
Mol_PMB Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Somewhere I previously found a photo of one with a white tank and Bell branding, but with a yellow framework if I recall correctly. I'm struggling to find it again! I found a few other nice Bell container shots while I was looking, but no tanks... 3 Quote

Regards Arran As a shipping line, it’s likely BELL only had a small number of tanks in their fleet dedicated to one or two customers.. Any pics I’ve seen seem to be leased tanks with a BELL decal added. The easiest one of these to model is the Transamerica 20ft and add a small BELL logo to it. There are pics of the tank on a train in Cork that I posted on here somewhere but I can’t find them right now despite trying a good number of searches! I will try dig out the original pic again.. Maybe @murphaphor @Weshty would take a look at doing a sheet of these? In the meantime, here are some pics from my album that I have saved from the excellent Waterford maritime history Facebook group Edited April 16 by MOGUL 2 Quote

Mol_PMB Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Here's the one I was thinking of: yellow frame, white tank, rather worn Bell logo and lettering. It appears to be a leased tank with an SCXU code: https://www.flickr.com/photos/irishrailwayarchive/53509438550 The one I posted way upthread is the only true Bell tank I've seen, in full Bell livery, and is a rather older type: https://www.flickr.com/photos/irishrailwayarchive/54419646114 Quote
