Excellent. Worth having a go at making a single cab end out of plasticard just to see how you get on. Those card kits make excellent working drawings

Bought an alphagraphix kit of a 141 to get a feel of the size of a gm in 0 gauge

I’m following this with interest, Darren. I have one or two of the AlphaGraphix 141 kits in my “one day” box with EFE Rail Class 15’s to sit under them.

Maybe not this year, maybe not next year, but soon, in the grand scheme of things.

leaving stuff outside the door is par for the course now. Gotta keep a sharp eye out.

Even with parcels that are supposed to be "signed for".

Like me, often buying stuff for a future project or a "roundtuit" :)

I think the majority of us are exponents of SABLE. Stash Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy.

Very true. And with many sources of parts and kits rapidly disappearing, I have an element of FOMO to the extent that I've just ordered some wheels from Scale Link suitable for a loco that I will probably never build. But just in case...

141 would be ideal.i got a 30 ton brake from enda at Ck prints.tis a fine bit thing.could do a shunting layout with a 141 and a few wagons

I've see those and other CK Print stuff in the flesh. It is truly superb and extremely good value.

Iv had a go painting with an airbrush .itss new thing to me.i bought 2 big big hymeks to practice on before I spend 700 quid on a heljan 0 gauge hymek .I used a vallejo grey primer and the orange top coat was very dark.anyways the hymek was 51 ft in real life and the 141 class was 44 ft.in 0 gauge its about 50mm shorter than the hymek if a model came to market hint hint.its got to be redone I just thought I'd post a pic of the first attempt at it.
