How much is this collection worth?

Hi all, this is my first post so please be gentle.

 

My Uncle David Brady, some of you might have met or known him passed away at the end of last year.

 

We are currently clearing out his house, he had a huge collection of model trains, dinky vehicles, and a variety of other toys and stuff.

 

I'm looking for a bit of honest help from your good selves in valuing his collection. We have photographed his Model train collection which you can view here https://www.flickr.com/photos/27914558@N08/sets/72157642971931425/

 

They are in pristine condition and all packed up in bubble wrap awaiting new homes. I'd love to hang on to his entire collection as I'm a bit of a collector myself but sadly my siblings and cousins are eager to sell and sadly I can't afford to buy them out.

 

Any help and fair offers would be much appreciated.

Some very nice good looking models there, but I'm afraid I won't be able to help out with how much the collection is worth.

Probably the best way is to sell on eBay. Have a look on eBay that might give you an idea of what the pieces mat fetch

Hi Riain.

I would suggest that you sell them individually on E bay.

Describe them by manufacturer & catalog number when listing them any where.

Say whether they are boxed or not & be honest in your description of the items.

If you do a search on E bay you will get an idea what similar items are fetching.
