Evening all,

Some photos from Heuston this morning and a quick stop at Kildare for the DFDS liner

Complete with a confused 22000!

22037 at Heuston, 25/11/14

Regards,

Kieran

Some really atmospheric photos Kieran. In the last photo of 083 beside the 22k, the 22k looks like a plastic toy from a pound shop. The 083 looks so imposing and substantial beside it. Anyway some really nice shots.

Evening all,

Pictures from a trip to Galway earlier today, plus from Heuston early this morning with a V.I.P. passenger. President Michael D. Higgins on the 0800 Heuston - Cork.

I've got to say that business to/from Galway is extremely healthy to both Dublin and Limerick. The 1345 Galway - Limerick was noted with 3ICR 22058 nearly full upon departure, the 1440 Spl. and 1505 scheduled services to Heuston were 80% full and standing room only respectively. The 1630 short working to Athenry had about 100 passengers and the 1420 Limerick - Galway was 4x2800 with at least 140 odd passengers arriving into Athenry with another large crowd to join it into Galway. Finally, the 1720 Galway - Heuston (4ICR) was standing room only leaving Galway. Long may it continue!

It's the Enterprise!

209 has been released to traffic following its body overhaul and repainting into a new and unfinished version of "Enterprise" livery, along with renumbering to 8209 to fit in with the NI Railways four digit system. It was pictured at Portarlington working the 0935 North Wall - Ballina IWT Liner.
