Afternoon all,

One year to the day since the first set was withdrawn from passenger service, the first of the refurbished Enterprise trains returns to service. It worked the 0800 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly and 1100 Dublin Connolly - Belfast Central. The project team aim to return sets 2 and 3 to service at two week intervals from today.

That is a serious improvement. Guess I'll have to try it!

I wouldn't just yet. The set suffered a failure yesterday and again today. Yesterday was 8208 suffering from very bad wheel flats so the loco had to be removed. I don't know what todays failure was.
