I used a sheet of bird cage grit paper and stuck it down before I spread the grass.

Looks great Noel, I presume a barrier wagon was a safety feature between the tanks and locomotive? What was in the wagon, was it just normal freight?

This bundle arrived this morning, lots of painting etc and the scrapyard will be looking better, I'm impressed with the quality.

Nope just found them very fiddly to glue as they are just foam strips covered in the finish, very effective though.
