    Found this today at my mum's house, it was built by my stepdad years ago and I remember him showing it working, it was some kind of kit he built, he loved tinkering with engineering stuff, I can't find anything about it here, does anyone here recognize it? Ps. Just done some research and it isn't a kit, it's part of a set, I will have to source the missing bits.

    I have it just at eye level for when I'm sitting at the workstation, I will use it to see what my weathering is like etc, once I take the plunge! It will make a change from the gaudy curtain

    I had to help a neighbour years ago, she locked herself out of the house, it was shortly after she got new PVC windows and doors so the front door needed a key to open which was inside, I got a strap off a bale of briquettes and she was horrified at how I opened the window from the outside with the strap
