Handy Gort baseboard guides here and here and here, too. Mine is going to be challenging as it has to hang on the back of the door, so needs to be as thin and light as possible, while not looking unseemly when hanging up. Bsically, both running surface and underside will need to be covered while not in use. To be brutally honest, I have some ideas, but they are not tried nor tested, and I have other projects in the way, first.

What a beauty, Sam! You thought you could keep a secret, @Darius43? Not from me!

Built by @Galteemore, who wouldn't in a bazillion years allow his workspace be contaminated by something as tiny as OO Gauge? So, are they O Gauge or Gauge 1?

I'm West Cork Railway! @leslie10646, you're in deep s*** next weekend when you start handing out wagons:

Is there a Superquinn store up there? Or even a supervalu with SQ sausages?
-
These wagons look incredible, @leslie10646! Commendations for going ahead and doing another RTR wagon, given the current climate.

And Covid vaccines have magnetic tracking chips, George Bush blew up the world trade centre to steal the gold, the moon landing was faked, and aircraft are sprinkling chemicals on us to reduce the population.

Whopper of an exhaust for an electric vehicle.

Just wondering if anybody here on the forum has dipped a toe into Gauge 1 with any of these?
-
Not a running session, don't have time or space at the moment, but lined up a few wagons to admire. Obviously the hoppers and the Swanage 7-plank are pure British, but I reckon that the closed vans and the 8-plank open will suffice as Irish-ish enough for me.

I don't think the rooves had been painted black for @murphaph's chosen era, they were still orange.

Hi all. The forum's a real mess for SSM (Studio Scale Models) stuff, and since @Weshty hasn't been too active these past three years, here are some of (probably not all, that's not my job!) the SSM threads scattered throughout the forum: Des Sulivan's forum profile: https://irishrailwaymodeller.com/profile/41-weshty/ Member number 41, that's old school! help! Removing paint from MIR resin kits?

I was trying to find @Noel's last night in one of his workbench threads but I didn't go back far enough - it was almost four years ago: -
help! Removing paint from MIR resin kits?
DJ Dangerous replied to tonybonneyba's question in Questions & Answers
Definitely not acetone / nail varnish remover or paint stripper. They will strip the paint off anything metal but they will melt anything plastic. The top two that I've heard mentioned are IPA and brake fluid, can't remember which dot though. Have a look through some of the workbench threads and you'll see the likes of @murphaph, @JasonB, @popeye , @Dempsey and @Georgeconna discuss what they are using. -
I'm also looking at putting together a small N Gauge layout, but this one will be to hang on the back of the door. If it helps, a circle of N Gauge track fits into a circle of about 506mm. Great for me, door is just over 700mm x 2000mm. 506mm is just under 20" in old money.

Leslie has posted on the forum previously to let us know that he's having issues with his website. If you go to https://provincialwagons.com/ there are placeholder images and there is a contact form, more than adequate for ordering. Leslie is quite prompt at dealing with enquiries and will send you a list of kits via email.
