  1. Anything that I ordered before the cyber attack shipped from Dublin, the 37 being pretty recent, no problems at all. One or two went back and forth a few times due to missing CN23's but they still got here in the end. It's just the newer AS stuff tends not to be listed on the IRM site, only on the AS site. Just to be transparent, we've been in touch several times since the attack, and the lads are working on making Royal Mail services available again. Probably no impact on Ireland as there are lots of Anglo-Irish shipping options, but it's different down here. Unique situation I guess.
  2. Thanks for letting us know. Very sad. May he rest in peace. We're there two different Lexie's, Tynan and Keady, involved with Lima?
  3. A couple of Murphy Models 121's on Adverts.ie, €180 to €200 each: https://touch.adverts.ie/models/murphy-models-mm0314/31905057 https://touch.adverts.ie/models/murphy-models-mm0134/31905070 https://touch.adverts.ie/models/murphy-models/31905151 https://touch.adverts.ie/models/murphy-models/31905117 Some RPSI Mk2's from a man that we all know: https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/rpsi-coaches/31904533 Murphy Models 190SA - €350 sounds insane so I assume the "DCC fitted" bit means a LokPilot V5 and twin speaker set-up! https://touch.adverts.ie/toy-cars-trains-boats-planes/bachmann-murphy-models-oo-gauge-mm0190-cie-class-181-190sa-diesel-locomotive/31823403
  4. Now with the "layout" (I use that term very loosely) clear of everything that has gone into the new IKEA cabinet... Cookham Manor looks on in dismay at the hulking form of a dangerously powerful looking 113 in the distance...
  5. Pity you live so far away, you'll never ever ever have the opportunity to visit.
  6. Here's a link to Belmullet, for anybody interested. Wow, what a layout!
  7. Have just caught up on Belmullet, after seeing the post in the trade section offering the layout free to a good home. Aside from being mind-blowingly good to look at, the behind-the-scenes info on the preparation for a show is a real eye-opener. I don't think I'd have appreciated just what goes into exhibiting a layout! Thank you for this wonderful layout. Whoever offers it a home will be very very lucky, whether they're a seasoned builder like yourself, or just a railway fanatic who buys one or two locos from you to run on it.
  8. My first thought was an army tank on a flat wagon! Never mind that, what happened to the wagons that ran on them???
  9. That looks really really excellent! The sandy lane in particular looks so realistic.
  10. Accurascale, in proud partnership with IKEA, present... The AccuraShelf!
  11. What sort of radius are the two loops? I was thinking that this may have been a solution but was struggling to judge the space. Is there an upper level track?
  12. Accurascale have temporarily stopped posting here since the Royal Mail cyber attack, so I can't buy from them directly. It's only temporary, not permanent, so I'll be able to buy from them again in the future.
  13. 37402, still boxed, and maaaaybe she'll get a run this weekend. Accurascale not using Royal Mail since the cyber attack so can't buy decoders or anything.
  14. Fondling of the sausages, the chocolates or the shunter?
  15. Gerry / Millipede has a Murphy Models 141 for €200 on Adverts.ie: https://touch.adverts.ie/models/model-railway-murphy-models-141-loco/31913563
  16. I wonder when IRM will start stocking track... 16,5mm and 21mm, obviously.
  17. Your options are probably limited as an Irish retailer is unlikely to have the volume of sales nor stock levels of a British retailer. Have never dealt with RB myself, but have seen them mentioned here. @Brian Collins Enterprises is great to deal with. The BrExit benefits keep on flowing. iZ0IcM.mp4
  18. What did Marks Models say when you contacted them? Do they have a lead time for arrival in stock? If so, what is it? Hatton's and Rails deliver to Ireland. Or are you looking for an exclusively Irish alternative to Marks? Brian Collins doesn't stock track, as far as I know, but he might be worth contacting and asking. https://briancollinsenterprises.ie/ RB Models only have concrete sleeper track listed. Again, might be worth contacting them to see if they can order anything and if the lead time is better than Marks. https://rbmodels.ie/product-category/trains/train-tracks/peco/ Hatton's and Rails are both very good for sales and customer service, prompt and concise.

  20. No Superquinn sausages??? I'm waiting for somebody to motorise the shunters!
  21. Is that a removeable hatch in the teaser photo, for getting the catering trolley in place???
  22. Oh man, you have me craving a Coolmore chocolate cake!
  23. You're going to love it. The 37's are probably the best AS loco... So far!
  24. Or Drilly MacMelterson, I dunno.
