  1. Plenty of space to "mill" about in there...

  3. You can never have enough containers... We need O Gauge next!
  4. Time to open a mushroom farm, running track, motorsport circuit, spa and concert hall: https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/76571/15-adaptive-re-uses-old-mines
  5. Is that actually a blue Tara, or a red Tara with blue graffiti? It's the lid that is throwing me off. It's definitely not a G1 lid, and the G2 lid change and red repainting probably happened at the same time.
  6. Here are the links to the three new ones, for anybody buying. Hapag Lloyd 20ft: https://shop.c-rail-intermodal.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=72_73&product_id=290 Hyundai 20ft: https://shop.c-rail-intermodal.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=72_73&product_id=289 Cosco 40ft: https://shop.c-rail-intermodal.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=72_73&product_id=288
  7. As many as you can get your hands on. Ten or twenty.
  8. Ordered some from him a couple of years ago but he sent me something else instead. Returned the order and never heard from him again. Assume that he doesn't have any left, and it's just a mistake on his website.
  9. How about those Bell reefers, @Arran? Are we likely to see another run?
  10. A friend just arrived for a week's holiday and brought some early Birthday presents!!!
  11. About spamming the forum with multiple threads, or the final price?
  12. Saw that one on Adverts.ie for €525 earlier. I have a feeling that he needs to sell on eBay to get the red mist boost and get that higher price.
  13. Yeah, it's mine, decided to sell a pack at a loss to try build a rating of some sort. Only one bid, and the bidder is your mate, John Paul, so he'll probably re-sell them. Just bamboozled as to why I can't see my own damn ad in the search results.
  14. I'm having the same problem again trying to see this listing: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175760436377 IRM Container Liners but they don't show up in the search results, only if somebody gives me the direct link.
  15. That 085 that @Fowler4f created a separate eBay thread for looks like it might end at a fair price: https://www.ebay.es/itm/175757401179
  16. Sounds like you DON'T like it! Now asking for €500 for the six Cravens. That's cheaper than Hatton's and eBay.
  17. @Sean, you and your big mouth!
  18. He's a bad one. Not only would he deprive you of your Lyons, he'd deprive you of your Harp if he had the chance.
  19. Once you don't write to Michael O'Leary.
  20. Time to set up a YT channel for all of the various layouts! This is gonna be too good not to.
  21. Hi All. Just wondering what donor chassis people have used for their kit-built / scratch-built / 3D printed Irish locos and stock, across N Gauge, OO Gauge, O Gauge and other scales. There have been many mentions throughout the forum, but I thought it would be good to get a few of them together in the one thread. The O Gauge Heljan Class 58 was what set me thinking along these lines, as the chassis looks like it may be useful. I know that the HO Gauge Athearn SW-1500 is definitely the main contender for OO gauge 121's, 141's and 181's, it's been posted to death on the forum so there's not much to say on that one, but what else? Shapeways O Gauge Irish stuff tends to be 1:48 rather than 1:43, presumably due to it's American ancestry. For reference, the Athearn SW-1500: https://www.hattons.co.uk/stocklistdatabase/356676/athearn_95831ath_sw1500_emd_203_of_the_great_northern_railway/stockdetail What do people use for bogie sides? Some of the Irish bogies are very uniquely Irish looking indeed.
  22. B&I ferry, two-tone green Dublin buses, RoadLiner trucks, grey 071's and P47 all due for Christmas.
