  1. Same! Was convinced that I had some 20' CMA-CGM boxes but nope!
  2. Absolutely savage! Still struggling to imagine the size. Have one or two 1:18 cars and they are huge, yet would be dwarfed by that Volvo. All you need is a trailer from Road Kings and you're sorted.
  3. What's the process for cutting out the windows? Do you repeatedly score the same lines with a blade until you slice through?
  4. He has 40' CMA-CGM highcubes listed: https://shop.c-rail-intermodal.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=152&search=cma
  5. Lovely stuff! I missed out on them, and will wait for @Arran's next batch rather than buying the Hornby ones. Have you seen the spare lugs for the flats? Very handy! https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/accessories/products/cie-ir-42-flat-container-mounting-lugs-20ft-container
  6. Keep us posted on those two, please, @Arran! Sorry to hijack the thread, @Rob, but it was way overdue a video and a few photos anyhow.
  7. WIT'S brand Starlet Turbo. Not as much a fan of this casting as the DISM and Norev models, particularly the rear clusters, but they knocked it out of the park with the interior!
  8. Those "Edicola" brand Pegaso 1236 cabs up close and personal:
  9. Would I be correct in saying that @Arran doesn't do 20' MSC or CMA-CGM containers? Only Hornby do the MSC and only Dapol do the CMA-CGM? Or where did you get yours???
  10. Looks lovely in the "new" DB livery! Took me a while to get used to the new one after the Jacobs orange on them.
  11. Out of the boxes? Out of the boxes??? Are you insane? They live in their boxes, and then those boxes go into other boxes to protect the boxes!
  12. I assume that global shipping in a 40' container is included for that price!
  13. Two locos and two coaches for €400 (129 and 203) : https://touch.adverts.ie/other-antiques-collectables/murphys-models-locomotives/30688292 177 and 183 for €250 each. Not bad if you could haggle him down to €200-ish: https://touch.adverts.ie/models/murphy-models-141/30655485 230 for €250, same seller: https://touch.adverts.ie/models/murphy-models/30009868 Gerry's Bachmann Mogul still for sale at only €100: https://touch.adverts.ie/models/model-railway-irish-bachmann-loco/30645602
  14. They're not great up close. Zoom in on my photos above and you'll see. Still, they'll look grand zooming by on an IRM Flat!
  15. Ouch, that's a fair aul' hit. Magnets. They need lots of magnets.
  16. Ouch, that's a fair aul' hit.
  17. In case anybody has problems viewing @patrick's videos, as I do, if you hold your finger on the video on a mobile device, the option to download should appear, and once downloaded, you can then view it. Not sure why, it only happens sometimes with some videos, where only the audio plays while trying to view via the forum. Lovely stuff, Patrick!
  18. I'm a bit ignorant of sound files and decoders and stuff, so sorry if the terminology is wrong here. Let's say IRM release a sound decoder for the A Class next summer. Then, two or three years later, for whatever reason, be it technological advances or unearthing more recordings or a running Crossley being found somewhere, IRM decide to record a new sound file. Does that new sound file get released as a patch or an update or something via the ESU website? Or would it only be available via a completely new sound decoder, hardware and all?
  19. There were a few posts earlier in that thread regarding the Crossley engined BR Class 28, but I don't know if that proved a viable lead.
  20. Drop the facade, Noel. Not evereybody is stupid enough to be blindsided by your two-faced nastiness. You posted that solely to stir problems, nothing else. And what nonsense about "shutting down" Gort. What are you? Twelve? Grow up.
