  1. ...yet!
  2. Was it just the gangways and the EGV livery, or was there anything else? IRM Customer Service is always top notch! Maybe @BosKonay could merge this Mk2D thread with the other one?
  3. Lovely stuff! The sound is just wonderful. Did you re-wire the loco lighting for shunting?
  4. Where are you and @Noel getting the info on decoder access? Is it on one of the Facebook groups or something?
  5. Don't you know? Silence is golden (era), golden (era), la la la la la laaaaaaaa! Yeah:
  6. iCloud? I thought that iPhones etc were just for old people and luddites? Is it videos that are stored online-only, and images are stored both locally and online, or how does that work? How did you provide power to the track in the end? Sent from my iPhone.
  7. Yeah, the price has been sub-€200 for a long time now. €200 for a BNIB never-run example, maybe. Nearly sure that Euvi Rail had one listed a few months back, and had to re-list as it didn't sell. Where did you get the info on the decoder hatch? From Paddy himself? I couldn't find that anywhere. The Murphy Models website says that the lighting arrangement is all new, and @WRENNEIRE said that the tooling had been tweaked, but the decoder access was a blank - until right now!
  8. Jesus, could you possibly brew-up any more puns?
  9. Would you not list it in the Classifieds and For Sale sections here on the forum, too? People are always looking for them, and the fact that you've sourced buffers and couplings is a massive plus.
  10. I hope you don't have to take much of a hit. Not fair when you were only trying to salvage a piece of poop-smeared Irish model railway history.
  11. Well, you say that... Who wouldn't want some Mk3 stock, AND who wouldn't be frothing at an IRM / MM team-up? Not @BosKonay leaking info on this particular occasion - he's now using incognito mode for browsing, thwarting my attempts to snoop!
  12. Hopefully it's not "IWTanker" because the likelihood of mixing up the W and the T while typing are pretty high.
  13. I was more concerned about the poop smeared all over it. Did you wipe that off?
  14. Of course he did! Paddy's Day is the celebration of the patron saint of Irish model railways.
  15. Yeah, come on guys, imagine arguing on the internet, that's way beneath the likes of me.
  16. Lovely stuff! 66001 was obviously the first one, but which was the last one? Found it here, 66779: https://irishrailwaymodeller.com/topic/13584-red-revolution-we-celebrate-25-years-of-class-66-with-two-exclusives/#comment-205316
  17. Basically, a piece of scrap for €100!
  18. Hi all. While mulling the €40 jump in price from the Murphy Models 121's to the new 141's / 181's, I thought that I may try fill some gaps in my collection. Looking for the following locos, brand new in box if possible: B165 in black and orange livery. B181 in black and orange livery. 142 in Supertrain livery. 182 in Supertrain livery. 171 in Iarnrod Eireann livery. If you have one that you'd like to part with, please drop me a private message. Thanks!
  19. How dare you? We don't need more coaching stock! We need 47' Container Flats and Dublin Buses! Have you logged into your partial.ly account itself to check? Saw the spec on the website alright, but I'm wondering if there's something that's been added since then.
  20. Who's going to speculate on a joint MM / IRM Mk3 project? Suburban sets from IRM and mainline sets from MM? And since @BosKonay sold his IE autoballasters a while back, they must also be on the radar...
  21. The price is a bit of a jump over the A Class. Any inkling as to the finalised specifications, fitted speakers, cab lights, magnetic decoder hatches etc?
  22. Just received an email saying that these are now available to purchase. Did they sneak in under the radar, right under @MOGUL's nose?
  23. It's all about balance / compromise. Agreed that the livery mistake on the EGV's is a shame, and maybe it could have been caught earlier. At the same time, it hasn't stopped me splurging all over them. Yes, phrasing, @JasonB. Anybody remember @connollystn talking about how terrible the Murphy Models 201 is because of where a socket on the bumper should have been, but wasn't? It was a compromise that we have to accept in the price vs. reality debate. Also, on realism, I'm sure a TLC scales up ro something like one and a half metres. Another compromise we accept. The bogies on the Mk2D's, from chatting with forum friends, seem to be an upgrade on previous iterations. As does the bogie mounting point on the body. Both changes would have meant new toolings, yet the price is only something like €5 more than the last ones? I'm sure that some genius will run decals for the EGV sides, and solve the problem. Whethere they should or shouldn't have to is another thing, but I'm sure we'll have a solution. The mistakes on the 141's / 181's at the Raheny show were probably as @JasonB said somewhere, just bodies from the older runs used to showcase the new liveries.
  24. Meh, they're both the same thing...
  25. As with the IRM warranty, thank you! Mind still blown.
